Bruce Lee, the late legendary martial artist who gave a new definition to the genre, has forever been respected by audiences worldwide. But when it comes to filmmaker Quentin Tarantino’s interpretation of him, he didn’t really hold back on his perspective on him. In fact, he seems to have exposed a dark truth about Lee in his flick Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.

While his portrayal of the legend wasn’t really one of the most favorable ones in the eyes of Lee’s fans, Tarantino doesn’t seem to be regretful of his decision at all. In fact, as he himself confessed, despite all the backlash he might get for the way he depicted Lee on the screens, fans might as well never expect the director to apologize, because he doesn’t intend to.
