Cowboy Bebop Star Warns Netflix After the Live Action Anime Adaptation Frustrated the Fandom
Cowboy Bebop is one of the most beloved and highly acclaimed anime series that has a very passionate fanbase. Hence, when the news of Netflix adapting this franchise into a live-action series dropped, people were actually excited.
They really thought that with ample budget and proper casting, Netflix could finally give a good live-action adaptation, but sadly, that never happened. The end product was far from what anyone expected, and for very obvious reasons, after just one season, the show was canceled.
Daniella Pineda, who was cast as Faye Valentine, finally gave her opinions regarding the live-action at the red carpet event for her new film, The Accountant 2. She offered very valuable suggestions about how one should be careful while adapting anime because it means a lot to its fans.
