Can't claim to be a Bert fan, just feel he probably should have aged out of this kind of comedy by now. It seems to be negatively impacting how he's perceived when he goes on podcasts (which I assume is a major channel to sell tickets for his shows.) The Two bears show is better when he's not there, and it looks like his Sober October group podcast has been discontinued.
I get the sense with Bert that his aim is to get a reality tv show similar to that of the Osbornes, with the focus of 'hilarious' things that happen in his domestic life.
The dog joke at the end was probably the joke of the set, but the punchline is super obvious.
On the plus side, it's better than Rogan & Bapa's last specials.

Think it's time to look for a new career. 2 specials, 0 laughs. It feels like he parodies other comedians. There's nothing compelling or funny in his act. His specials feel like an amateur less than a year in. He's been doing this for a while now.
Sorry pal, you can keep your CBD oil, (that you emailed me about without my consent in exchange for a positive review.)
I was excited to watch this, as Schaub talks up his comedy credentials and he's surrounded by some funny people: Segura, Shaffir, Callen, Von, thought it would have been funnier than what it was.
I can't recall a comedy special as terrible as this. I think Schaub is funny on his podcasts, maybe that's his wheelhouse. Felt he was badly exposed in this special.
