First horror film I saw where the characters didn't do something so painfully stupid that I had no sympathy whatsoever for them (e.g. "See that abandoned house up the hill? I'm going to take a shower there Jimmy!")
Yes, I wanted to vomit from the cinematography, but it was an effective film.
Ok, the main characters did do some stupid things, which limits my sympathies, but overall, it was understated and genuinely creepy.
Locked in a small space with lots of zombies? Too bad for you!
Stuck in an antarctic base with no way out and a monster? Who can change shape? That'll leave a mark.
Driving is not my favorite activity even under optimum circumstances.
Ok, has some grim moments, but not super scary. i want you to see it though so I'm adding it anyway. It's my list!
