An absolute brilliant psychological animation series that involves a teen, named Light Yagami, wishing to rid the world of all evil doers vs El, Near, and Mellow, 3 geniuses, wishing to put a stop to Light's God like power. There was never a dull episode.
This movie is absolutely brilliant!! Two major thumbs up! This is M. Night Shyamalan's best work next to Sixth Sense. In the movie, Bruce Willis wrestles with an unexplainable internal sadness until Samuel Jackson appears in his life. Samuel Jackson helps Bruce Willis embrace a gift that he's kept repressed for most of his life. I think the overall message of this movie is that no matter how old you get, it's never too late to realize your destined purpose in life; and sometimes it takes another person to help you see the truth of what you hold back. Everyone in this movie acted exceptionally well and there was never a dull moment. The ending could have been a little better but nevertheless, kudos again to a brilliant film!
Wonderful performances by Kenneth Branagh and Laurence Fishbourne. The pacing and tempo of their performances was so wonderful that a few times I found myself becoming teary eyed. Its true that the film is lacking in many of the subplots of the original play but the movie was still able to carry itself to a spectacular climax and tragical end. This is definitely drama at its best!
The movie depicts a realistic view of England's urban youth. Fantastic acting on Michael Caine's part... He was very truthful in his choice of actions. It's great to see Michael Caine working when parts for his age category are very limited. Overall, acting was superb, plot was well, pacing of movie was fantastic (no dry moments), and the movie is believable.. there is no leaping from buildings or jumping out of moving trains or cars. This movie is a must-see!
This flick could have been more interesting given a better storyline and more details about its characters, but I guess the ultimate message is to not reflect on the characters or the story but rather the actions being made to allow one virus to quickly spread and affect people on a global scale.
How well do you know your loved one? This movie unveils the truth behind what we may think we know about a person...
Real depiction of an immigrant's struggle in America.
