Films/TV Programmes I have worked on
Disclaimer: So many of the films I (and my team) worked on over the years did not reach the big screen for various reasons -but such is the nature of the industry. However this is a selection of films in which I (and in some cases, my team) played a part - however large or small, whether as production lawyers, finance lawyers, providing a legal opinion, handling location agreements or distribution - the role on each film varied in extent and complexity.

When Ralph arrives at university he immediately takes over the fantasy role-playing society from the resident Game Keeper in a ruthless coup. His new players include neurotic risk management student Davy, metal-head theology student Hank and - most importantly - the beautiful Marlyn, a crazy Goth chick who believes she is an elf. She's the ultimate object of geek lust, and Ralph falls for her hard. But there's a fly in the ointment: Ralph's old enemy from the hood, minor dope dealer Lennie who has undergone a near-religious conversion to all things fantastical having watched a LORD OF THE RINGS triple bill while on acid. Now he's desperate to take part in Ralph's game. Under pain of violence Ralph agrees to let him play, but soon regrets it when he notices a spark between Lennie and Marlyn. The seeds of a bitter love triangle are sown, and the story soon snowballs towards an inexorable apocalyptic explosion of freakish, geekish angst!

- DirectorGiles FosterStarsJacqueline BissetLara-Joy KörnerJan NiklasScottish local key businessman Sam Howard's interests include the hotel recently installed in Countess Lucinda Rhives's Scottish coastal family castle and confided the management to his lover, Carrie Marchmont. The latter supports the annual amateur Shakespeare performance being mounted by her theatrical friend Elfrida Phibbs and her lover, church cantor and organist Oscar Blundell, who mentors keyboard-gifted rascal Brody but still wrestles with his daughter's tragic death. Sam also owns the local paper "Langmore and Highland Gazette", which may ruin him as it risks a huge damage claim for publishing an unsubstantiated article ascribing plagiarism to US bestseller-author Alexia White, whom he may persuade to consider alternatives. Carrie is pregnant, yet protests as Sam engages an external hotel manager, consultant Leo Berger, who pleads seeking proper profits by aiming at a richer clientele, even canceling the merely regional theater festival. Charming Italian hotel guest Lorenzo Calpeni gets on exceptionally well with countess Lucinda, who hates her bumbling title heir cousin and mistrusts the intentions of Australian Scott Allen, who gets engaged as reporter by Sam but has a special interest in the Rhives castle and family history.Location Agreement work
