Danny Fenton and Sam Manson are the main couple of "Danny Phantom". Danny and Sam are best friends and share a very close relationship, especially since Sam is one of the very few people who is aware of Danny's secret identity as Danny Phantom. Throughout the series, Danny and Sam are always there for each other as Danny always rescues Sam whenever she is in danger and Sam helps Danny keep his identity and powers a secret. Although they constantly deny such feelings, Danny and Sam are secretly in love with each other, but are too stubborn to admit how they really feel. Despite their denial, everyone around them such as friends, family and even enemies are fully well aware of their blossoming romance. Danny and Sam's feelings grow stronger as the series continues to further progress and slowly yet surely, they come to accept and acknowledge they are in love with each other. By the end of the series, Danny and Sam finally confess their love for each other and at long last finally become a couple.
