1 November: A really cool Halloween special by ever-inspiring Cheesemint Productions, which I guess could be categorized as cosmic horror comedy: surprisingly it is almost a defined subgenre already.
1 November: Not exactly your usual Halloween fodder, but perfect for November in my humble opinion, as it fits with overall theme of underachieving which inevitably floats in the air for me in November.
3 November: Hearing about odd passion projects from Cecil Trachenburg is always a pleasure. The Houses October Built franchise completely evaded me for some reason, but now I am intrigued.
3 November: While most of the Halloween specials are not available on Halloween due to different time zones, with YouTube it's tad different, so I don't know what took me so long to see one of Good Bad Flicks. Might be the fact that I wanted to see the "Exploring" episode on the first two movies beforehand.
4 November: Re-watching this movie (perfect for season, I guess) gave me some thoughts on why Halloween (2018) chose to ignore it: they tried so hard to drop a bridge on both Loomis and Myers that (even before seeing both of them surviving in both sequel timelines) amount of damage both suffer in this movie alone makes it a rather ridiculous plot. Anyhow, it's a very well-crafted slasher film.
11 November: placeholder for another short film, not yet in the database.

11 November: Sergey A.'s Halloween offering of 2018 definitely is a worthy attempt considering it was practically made on his own. Then again, A. was to proficient in found footage at the time, to not have results with a certain degree of interest: what is really interested in this micro-feature is the atmosphere.
11 November: at the time I almost forgot that this music video is a nearly shot-for-shot remake of Friday the 13th (1980), or at least I forgot the extent of it. A brilliant little music video which could be easily used as to prove that slasher could be done with little gore and relies mostly on a peculiar editing structure.

15 November: another nice homage to Friday the 13th (1980). It's hard to say why Legends of Tomorrow (2016) always have clearly Halloween episodes arrive like a month late, but here we go.
16 November: something about this oddity totally works.
20 November: a short that suddenly started a renaissance of Sergey A.'s shark movies which are a subgenre in itself and even more so now. I am also in this for a quick cameo, but I'm shotgun-totting and considering how short the short is I ended up being a co-director. Such things happen in no budget efforts.
20 November: Nothing quite like Good Bad Flicks (2010) to lift up the spirits in November.
Comedy, News
20 November: same here.
21 November: a very inspiring and reassuring movie, something I very much needed in November 2018. Re-ignited the interest in finishing my own music in me, as well.
