If I don't tell Actress Trisha's performance, I will become male prejudiced! She has been a heart throb for almost a decade. From Leysa Leysa till Vinnaithandi varuvaya, she has acted in many good movies; unfortunately if Hollywood film industry has actress portrayed as Sex material, Tamil/Telugu/Hindi industry reduce woman to dummy material with skin show and glamour; this part which I am not liking in movies across.

This movie might have some purchased material from some industry in some part of the world...But overall, it's action, intense drama...Actor Aarya, director Vishnuvardhan combination is a hit so far..

'Why this Kolaveri' actor's best performance till date...It's an emotionally touched story, of how a wife can inspire her husband...Actress Richa, Actor Dhanush and Director Selva Raghavan's euphoria.

"kandukondein kandukondein"- loosely based on Jane Austen's novel involving sisters of a family, is an interesting drama involving four characters- an aspiring director(Ajith), an aspiring singer(Aishwarya Rai), an independent/caring woman(Tabu) who happens to be the aspiring singer's sister (:O) and a physically challenged, imbibed war veteran(Mammooty)..

A good story by famous cinematographer, ad-film maker Rajeev Menon, a very very beautiful Aishwarya Rai and good performances by other main characters..

Unnaipol oruvan is a remake of 'A Wednesday' Hindi film...It's gripping story/thriller...Towards climax, the dialogue or reasoning of the protogonist for his actions weren't as crisp/clear as in Hindi cinema, where reasoning was even more proper...!

Anyhow my loving lady Shruti Hasan enters as a Music composer for this film..!! Wish she could do something of this kind than portraying dummy characters in Cinema, which might fetch her money, but not awards and lovable fans like me..!!:P (though public drooling is injurious to health, find her too gorgeous to avoid mentioning it)

I find it very strange, this movie wasn't nominated as India's best foreign film...It should rightfully be a contender for beautiful music and portrayal of rural ..

But, I will tell for this director to go onto the international scene with a gripping story, has to work with Director Mani Ratnam...He is the director for the future..His latest film, 'Paradesi' is way ahead of his earlier films...

This a different film by Director Priyadharshan..Kanchivaram explores the early days of how Co-operative society was formed by the Kanchipuram 'pattu' dress weavers...!!

Director Balachandar movies portray women as independent working one shouldering responsibilities unlike other movies at that time..This is one such movie, where protogonist enacted by Sujatha takes care of all the things in family...A trend setter for a few more movies of this genre!

It's not 1973 film, which I am referring to 2006 film, Sathyaraj starrer one..Anyhow both might be good..It's a biography about a person who is an athiest and who brought about a change in Tamil Nadu, with no caste names behind the names, unlike other parts of India, where still Dalits are treated poorly and not allowed to enter temples.

It's about a leader, who has been loyal, humble and served people...He died with about 20 Indian rupees at his rented house..

It's a movie set in religious backgrounds - inter caste marriage and the society's reactions during the time, when I was born !:P

An amalgamation of Robocop, I-robot, surrogates...But, the main contention is Dialogue writer, 'Sujatha' who has written famous dialogues, and had already envisioned a similar story published in as a novel...This one has Indian aroma attached...

And previously, this story was about to star 'Shah Rukh Khan' and press meet was done for the same..Later due to Director Shankar's previous non-profitable movie 'Boys', actor Rajinikanth cautioned the hindi filmstar to not produce under his filmhouse, 'Red Chillies Entertainment', which included his life-savings....Rajini volunteered for the movie, as he seem himself fit to have a better fanfare across countries..!! (Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Canada, US, UK and ofcourse India)...This movie was dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil...With an aggressive marketing by Sun TV Network, the movie is the highest production capital involved movie in India, with an estimated budget of 150-200 Cr, but had managed to reap in 300 Cr...(the figures might be wrong, but approximately portray the scenario:)

and also it's said, some theatre in Europe, where movies are chosen only based on some stringent criteria of Mass-fanfare had allowed this movie to be screened and a song 'Kilimanjaro', was shot in exotic locations had allowed this movie to be taken and hadn't allowed Casino Royale earlier...

There is a poster in internet, where around 200-300 fans wore Rajini's Robot mask and dressed up like him, during the Japanese version of this film release...It's better than India..!! :)

This movie is a blockbuster movie in Tamil Film Industry and when I watched, I was of the opinion, 'What the hell is this movie is all about..?'...But later call it, 'influential friends', liked the songs initially, then liked some elements of film making and then the whole movie...

The actor Ajith comes in Salt and Pepper hairstyle, he is smart and he is calld 'George Clooney' of Tamil Nadu; he does everything which is bad; 'Smoke', 'Drink', 'Betrayal', 'Casual, but not explicitly shown Hollywood kind of sex', 'Kill', yet he rules...

Watch it for him, if yu start liking his style, actions, yu will like this game of cards from Tamil Nadu like 'Nine Queens'..!!

Yet to see this movie..But I have seen a friend recommending this movie...!! It's KB sir's movie...If I am right, it should be about a group of friends after they graduate frm college...how their lives move on...

Vijay has a mass following...This movie proved it..

In Tamil film industry, actors are measured by number of fan following. There are many fan clubs across different districts and areas...

Now a days, the actors have either completely dislodged the clubs or made it as welfare clubs on behalf of the actor..

Anyhow, this actor has many clubs and such number of fan following that, after 4 or 5 continuous pathetic stories and lean patch, this movie preceeded by 'Nanban', 'Kaavalan' all got good reception...

This movie is racy, cinematography is awesome(Santhosh Sivan)..This movie is directed by A.R.Murugadoss ..

There are few cons in this movie; I didn't like certain scenes and story points- regular initial intro song for a hero (cliche), using his sister as a bait for catching the terrorists and having the belief in a dog smelling power in big city suburb like Mumbai in order to catch the terrorists, not thinking for a moment all are wearing black dress in common; getting it to realize pretty late, and finally when the main terrorist asks to park his vehicle across different places- not thinking what could be inside when there have been already some bomb explosions in the city and finally showing as if the interior defense ministry's secretary itself as part of terror group is pathetic..!!

Someone could ask, why on the hell this movie was kept in this list; it's because 7/10 people from my state disagree with my viewpoint and they want this movie in this list!

The comedian 'Santhanam' is a welcome addition to Tamil cine industry...This movie simply ran because of Santhanam's slapstick oneliners and comedy..!! Adding this for him..:)
