Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll was born on February 2, 1977, in Barranquilla, Colombia, to Nidia del Carmen Ripoll Torrado and William Alberto Mebarak Chadid. She is of Lebanese, Spanish, and Italian descent, contributing to her diverse musical influences.

During her elementary school years, Shakira was diagnosed with ADHD, which mainly manifested as hyperactivity. She was known among her peers for her belly dancing skills. Despite her enthusiasm for music, she faced early criticism when a school choir teacher told her she wouldn't succeed because she "sang like a goat." These challenges did not deter her passion for music and performance.

Edgar Ramirez Arellano is a Venezuelan actor, born in the city of San Cristobal (Tachira State, southwest Venezuela). He is the son of Soday Arellano, an attorney, and Filiberto Ramírez, a military officer.

Being the son of a soldier and living abroad with his family, he learned several languages, like English, German, Italian and French, as well as his mother tongue, Spanish. He studied Journalism (Comunicación Social) at the Andres Bello Catholic University, in Caracas. He began exploring his acting vocation, playing on several school made films.

Sofía Margarita Vergara Vergara was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia. Her mother, Margarita Vergara Dávila de Vergara, is a housewife. Alice Braga Moraes born April 15, 1983 is a Brazilian actress. She has appeared in several Brazilian films, most notably as Angélica in 2002's highly acclaimed City of God and as Karina in 2005's Lower City. She came to international prominence after appearing opposite Will Smith in I Am Legend (2007) and has since become a familiar face in Hollywood, appearing in films such as Repo Men and Predators (both 2010), The Rite (2011) and Elysium (2013).

Moura was born in Salvador, a city located in Northeast Region of Brazil, but grew up in the small town of Rodelas, Bahia. His mother, Alderiva, was a housewife, and his father, José Moura, was a Sergeant in the Brazilian Air Force. At the age of 13, he moved with his family to Salvador, Bahia.

She later divorced. Gaby planned to surprise people with her singing talent in a later project. Her contract with "Televisa" expired in May 2001. Since she has become such a big star, there is no doubt that "Televisa" will offer her a new one.

Rodrigo Santoro is a world-renown actor who starred alongside Academy Award Winner Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, and Jeffrey Wright in the hit HBO series "Westworld," created by Jonah Nolan and produced by J.J. Rodrigo received the Ischia award for International Contribution at the 2008 Ischia Global Film Festival in Italy. He has also won a total of eight Best Actor awards, including the first-ever award for Best Actor from the Brazilian Academy of Arts and Film for his portrayal of a young man forced into a mental institution by his parents in "Brainstorm," by director Lais Bodansky.

Barbara Mori began her career in television where she starred in telenovelas for more than 10 years. The most notable of those was "Rubí" which garnered her international recognition globally.

Through this notoriety she has had the opportunity to work in such countries such as Chile, The United States, Spain, India and South Africa.

John Alberto Leguizamo Peláez was born July 22, 1960, in Bogotá, Colombia, to Luz Marina Peláez and Alberto Rudolfo Leguizamo. He was a child when his family emigrated to the United States. He was raised in Queens, New York, attended New York University and studied under legendary acting coach Lee Strasberg for only one day before Strasberg passed away. The extroverted Leguizamo started working the comedy club circuit in New York and first appeared in front of the cameras in an episode of Miami Vice (1984). His first film appearance was a small part in Mixed Blood (1984), and he had minor roles in Casualties of War (1989) and Die Hard 2 (1990) before playing a liquor store thief who shoots Harrison Ford in Regarding Henry (1991). His career really started to soar after his first-rate performance in the independent film Hangin' with the Homeboys (1991) as a nervous young teenager from the Bronx out for a night in brightly lit Manhattan with his buddies, facing the career choice of staying in a supermarket or heading off to college and finding out that the girl he loves from afar isn't quite what he thought she was.

The year 1991 was also memorable for other reasons, as he hit the stage with his show John Leguizamo: Mambo Mouth (1991), in which he portrayed seven different Latino characters. The witty and incisive show was a smash hit and won the Obie and Outer Circle Critics Award, and later was filmed for HBO, where it picked up a CableACE Award. He returned to the stage two years later with another satirical production poking fun at Latino stereotypes titled John Leguizamo: Spic-O-Rama (1993). It played in Chicago and New York, and won the Drama Desk Award and four CableACE Awards.

In 1995 he created and starred in the short-lived TV series House of Buggin' (1995), an all-Latino-cast comedy variety show featuring hilarious sketches and comedic routines. The show scored two Emmy nominations and received positive reviews from critics, but it was canceled after only one season. The gifted Leguizamo was still keeping busy in films, with key appearances in Super Mario Bros. (1993), Romeo + Juliet (1996) and Spawn (1997). In 1998 he made his Broadway debut in John Leguizamo: Freak (1998), a "demi-semi-quasi-pseudo-autobiographical" one-man show, which was filmed for HBO by Spike Lee.

Utilizing his distinctive vocal talents, he next voiced a pesky rat in Doctor Dolittle (1998) before appearing in the dynamic Spike Lee-directed Summer of Sam (1999) as a guilt-ridden womanizer, as the Genie of The Lamp in the exciting Arabian Nights (2000) and as Henri DE Toulouse Lautrec in the visually spectacular Moulin Rouge! There can be no doubt that the remarkably talented Leguizamo has been a breakthrough performer for the Latino community in mainstream Hollywood, in much the same way that Sidney Poitier crashed through celluloid barriers for African-Americans in the early 1960s. Among his many strengths lies his ability to not take his ethnic background too seriously but also to take pride in his Latino heritage. He has opened many doors for his countrymen. A masterly and accomplished performer, movie audiences await Leguizamo's next exciting performance.

Lázaro Ramos was born on 1 November 1978 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. He is an actor and director, known for Executive Order (2020), The Man Who Copied (2003) and Mister Brau (2015). He has been married to Taís Araújo since 9 June 2011. They have two children.

Taís Araújo was born on 25 November 1978 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is an actress, known for Sparkling Girls (2012), Xica da Silva (1996) and Snakes & Lizards (2006). She has been married to Lázaro Ramos since 9 June 2011. They have two children.

Caio Blat is certainly the most talented young actor in Brazil. His successful career began at age 9, in TV-commercials and guest appearances in educational shows in public broadcast. Beginning his career in television during childhood, Mello is today one of Brazil's most prominent and critically acclaimed artists - with an extensive body of work in theater, cinema, and other creative fronts.

Mello played leading roles in To the Left of the Father, directed by Luiz Fernando Carvalho; Lisbela and the Prisoner, directed by Guel Arraes (more than 3.5 million tickets sold); A Dog's Will, directed by Guel Arraes (more than 2.5 million tickets sold); Drained, directed by Heitor Dhalia; My Name Ain't Johnny, directed by Mauro Lima (more than 2.5 million tickets sold); and Four Days in September, directed by Bruno Barreto and nominated for an Oscar in the category of Best Foreign Language Film in 1997.

Mello began his career behind the camera as a director of music videos, documentaries, and TV shows.

For his second feature film, The Clown, Mello worked as director, co-writer, and co-editor - and starred in the leading role. Released in October of 2011, the film achieved the milestone of 1.5 million viewers and earned high marks from critics - receiving over 40 awards in Brazil and worldwide, including Best Director in Paulínia, from the APCA (Paulista Association of Art Critics), and at the 38th SESC Film Fest, where it was awarded Best Film by judges and the viewing audience.

The Clown won the Cinema Brazil Grand Prize in 2012. It placed first in 12 categories - a record that has assured its place in history as one of the most successful Brazilian films ever made. In 2013, The Clown was chosen to represent Brazil in the selection of Best Foreign Language Film nominees for The Oscars.

In 2017, Mello released his third feature-length film, The Movie of My Life, based on A Distant Father by prize-winning Chilean novelist Antonio Skármeta, author of Il Postino. Starring Mello, alongside French actor Vincent Cassel, the film has received high marks from critics and viewing audiences and represented Brazil in the 2017 Rome Film Fest.

Mello currently stars in the Netflix series The Mechanism, created and directed by José Padilha, the creative mind behind Narcos and Elite Squad.
