After initially publishing this list, a look at some of the Facebook feedback reminded us that, of all the indie/foreign/arty movies of the past year, we thought Force Majeure was a lock for a Best Foreign Language nomination. There was no way Under the Skin or even Snowpiercer were going to earn a nomination, but we thought this Swedish wonder was right there alongside Leviathan.
