Now don't get me wrong, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE FUTURAMA, but Bender's Game just felt offbeat and it was a disgrace to the series. I mean Bender's Big Score and The Beast With a Billion Backs and Into the Wild Green Yonder were pretty good for direct to video films. Because of this, I almost lost interest and hope in Futurama until it was revived for 26 new episodes for Comedy Central last year. First of all, I haven't even seen this film at all (I have seen BBS, TBWABB, and ITWGY) but I'll never, never, never see this one because first of all, it's set in a fantasy world reminiscent of Middle Earth from LOTR and that just fits very well to a friggin sci-fi cartoon set over 1,000 years in the future?! I mean seriously what's next, a Legend of Zelda game set in space? Not to mention there's a scene where Frydo (Fry) turns into a dragon for 2 minutes WTF? I mean that's the most filler and pointless thing I've even seen in this show. I'd rather watch the episode where everyone's genders are swapped. Anyways, thank god I didn't even see this one and will I ever? NO!!
Wow, Rare wow! Why did you do this to Banjo-Kazooie? First of all, there's hardly any platforming in this game and the stages are empty and you must complete vehicular missions? Why? Whoever the jackass was that was responsible for this travesty is the reason why Rare has moved on and decided against a fourth game in favor of the upcoming Playtoic Games "Yooka-Laylee", which will be everything "Banjo-Threeie" should've been!
I love the Paper Mario series! The first game on the Nintendo 64 was pretty good and I just beat it again on the Wii U Virtual Console! Now The Thousand-Year Door was the best in the series. It expanded on what made the original great while adding new gameplay elements such as "Paper" morphing abilities, more badges, an optional 100-floor dungeon, and an even darker and better storyline than it's predecessor. Super Paper Mario, while not as good as the second game was still fun to play. The storyline was good but the gameplay was too similar to the traditional Mario platformers but with RPG elements. The storyline was almost as good as the second game, if not in some ways better. Overall, I'd say it's still worth a look but don't expect it to reach the same charm as TTYD though. Now Sticker Star was just a mess! While I think some of the music was good and the graphical paper cut-out was nice, everything else fails; gameplay wise! First of all, they did away with the partners, sidequests, optional 100-floor dungeons, recipes, leveling up, and epic storyline in favor of generic battles that use stickers as moves and most of them are pointless since you don't get any exp. points from them and only coins. Second of all, the storyline was terrible! After two sequels with awesome storylines, we get one about Bowser stealing some kind of magical star and he doesn't even speak a single line in this game! Yep, that's right! In the previous 3 games, he had clever one-liners! Especially in the 2nd game like "Hag Vs. Hag! Awesome!" but nope, they wanted him to be mute in this game! Overall don't even bother with this game! Just skip this one and only get the first three games in the series! I just pray that the rumored upcoming Wii U entry is miles better than SS and plays more like the first two games in the series!
