The episode aired only once in Japan and as a result of the disaster, the show went on a four month hiatus and the Pokemon featured in the episode, Porygon, has not made appearances in the Pokemon anime aside from cameos. The same goes for Porygon's two evolutions Porygon2 and Porygon-Z who only appeared in the opening of the fifteenth movie Kyurem vs. the Sword of Justice.
