Sean Young
Is known for being one of Hollywood's most difficult actresses, with some of her antics having achieved legendary status.
An early incident saw her clash with co-star Bill Murray on the set of Stripes (1981), due to her dislike of Murray's ad-libbing. Murray vowed never to work with her again.
She was also difficult on the set of Wall Street (1987), clashing with director Oliver Stone and co-stars Charlie Sheen and Daryl Hannah. Young was jealous of Hannah's much larger role in the film, and repeatedly insisted to Stone that she should play the role instead and that Hannah should be fired, leading to much tension and animosity throughout the shoot.
Young also stalked and harassed her The Boost (1988) co-star James Woods shortly after filming wrapped, leaving a disfigured doll on his doorstep, leading Woods to sue her.
Additionally, she was fired from Dick Tracy (1990) after already being cast, with director and star Warren Beatty claiming that she was too controlling and demanding. Young claimed that she was fired for rebuffing Beatty's advances, claims which Beatty has repeatedly denied. She was ultimately replaced by Glenne Headly.
Most legendarily, Young desperately wanted the role of Catwoman in Batman Returns (1992), to the point where she ambushed Tim Burton and Michael Keaton on the Warner Bros. lot wearing a homemade Catwoman costume, and demanded that they give her the role. She later appeared on late-night T.V. dressed as Catwoman, deriding Burton for not giving her the role, which ultimately went to Michelle Pfeiffer.
