A classic, and the best of Season 1. - DirectorAmy HeckerlingStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiMichael is just one of the many male staff who start vying for the attention of an attractive saleswoman in the office.8/10
Underrated episode that furthers the Jim/Pam storyline in preparation for Season 2, not much of a season finale though. - DirectorGreg DanielsStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiMichael hosts the annual Dundie Awards at a local restaurant, but the night takes an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Jim and Pam share a moment that could change everything.10/10
The true start to the Office, or at least, the style of the Office that we all know, and Michael having a more likeable edge to him.
This episode is amazing and has so much going on. - DirectorKen KwapisStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiThe office reviews its sexual harassment policy in light of explicit e-mails.9/10

Iconic episode, with many great lines. - DirectorPaul FeigStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiReady to finalize his deal for a new condo, Michael is away with Dwight while Jim rallies the staff together for office games.9/10
Great A-Plot but the B-Plot wasn't as good, the ending was really sweet though. - DirectorKen KwapisStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiA fire in the kitchen relegates the staff to the parking lot as help is on its way.8/10
"Ryan started the Fire!"
"I would definitely have sex with Ryan"
The first episode where we get to see more of Ryan the Temp, also pretty iconic. - DirectorPaul FeigStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiMichael is pressured by corporate to fire someone, which puts a damper on the office Halloween party.8/10
Imagine if Michael fired Creed, the show would be without one of it's most iconic side characters, anyway great episode, nice to see a little payoff to the downsizing stuff, even if the true payoff is yet to occur. - DirectorKen KwapisStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiJim rallies the staff together to witness a showdown between Michael and Dwight at Dwight's martial arts school.8/10
Great episode, the Jim and Pam stuff here drags it down though imo :/ I love Dwight tho so still great. - DirectorGreg DanielsStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiWith Michael and Jan Levinson-Gould away from the office to land a new client, the staff discovers an unproduced screenplay in Michael's office.9/10
The start of Jan and Michael's relationship that dominates the first 4 seasons, also the first mention of "Threat Level Midnight", as well as Pam and Jim's first "date" in front of the fireworks.
Absolute classic. - DirectorPaul FeigStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiInstead of talking to his employees about their work, Michael uses their annual review time to gather feedback on his "relationship" with Jan.8/10
The cold open is funny af lol (the exercise ball one)
The episode is p great too. - DirectorPaul FeigStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiMichael decides to set up e-mail surveillance for all company e-mail, and discovers that Jim has invited everyone over for a barbeque except him.9/10
Very good episode, I love how Jim joins Michael on the karaoke at the end. We also see our first glimpse at Dwight/Angela's relationship (which imo is the best relationship) - DirectorCharles McDougallStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiSeeing the party is headed for disastrous boredom, Michael breaks corporate policy to buy alcohol for the staff.10/10
Absolutely amazing
Michael is quite unlikeable here but the episode is just full of great moments, including the teapot bit at the end which contains the show's biggest "Chekhov's Gun" (a plot point that's planted and doesn't go off until later, in this case, the note) Also poor Angela, she just wanted to throw a nice party. - DirectorKen KwapisStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiThe Dunder Mifflin staff go on a mandatory "booze cruise" to hear Michael give a motivational talk.10/10
Also amazing
"I'm King of the woooooorld!!"
Just iconic and finally sets the Pam/Roy wedding arc into action. - DirectorBryan GordonStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiMichael's "injury" from a George Foreman Grill distracts the staff from Dwight, the one with the real injury.10/10
One of the show's best episodes hands down, the scene where everyone helps Dwight with his concussion is just so wholesome.
One of my favorite aspects of the Office is how all the characters grow to like each other as the show progresses, and this is probably the first to really lean into that. - DirectorDennie GordonStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiJim fears the secret he told to Michael, in confidence, will be revealed to the staff.9/10
Michael turning into Jim because they're becoming friends in this one is funny - DirectorVictor Nelli Jr.StarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiMichael's office becomes the victim of an odorous prank which subjects the office to his punishment.8/10
Weakest in Season 2, but is still pretty great, I love Jim and Kelly's interactions in this one. This is also the origin of the Kelly/Ryan romance throughout the series, make of that what you will. - DirectorDennie GordonStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiJan comes into the Scranton Branch to give all the female employees a group seminar on women in the workplace. Upset that he is not allowed in on the proceedings, Michael takes all the men down into the warehouse for some "guy time."8/10
Great episode again, I like seeing more progression in the Michael/Jan plotline. - DirectorGreg DanielsStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiWhen Michael visits Dunder Mifflin corporate headquarters in New York on Valentine's Day, he and Jan are both in for a surprise. Meanwhile, back in Scranton, the office staff celebrates Valentine's Day grade school style.9/10
"me so thorny"
I love seeing Phyllis' desk just become a jungle of valentine's gifts throughout this episode, as well as meeting David Wallace for the first time. - DirectorCharles McDougallStarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiMichael coaches pompous Dwight on the finer art of public speaking after being named as Salesman of the Year.9/10
Dwight giving some dictator typa speech will never not be funny, I also love how Angela sneaks off to see Dwight perform his speech in secret. - DirectorVictor Nelli Jr.StarsSteve CarellRainn WilsonJohn KrasinskiChildren come to Dunder Mifflin for Take Your Daughter to Work Day. Michael is surprised when he strikes up a friendship with Toby's daughter. Pam is desperate to befriend her colleagues' offspring and Ryan is put under Stanley's thumb.10/10
"I made my name "littlekidlover", so people know where my priorities are at"
I love the character development we get for Michael in this one, as well as the interactions we get from having some of the workers' kids in the Office for the day, also the scene where Stanley shouts at Ryan is just too funny.
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND?!"
