55th: All The Old Knives Rating: 1/10 All The Old Knives is a super messed up and boring CIA romance movie with no entertainment. It massively fails to live up to the hype I had going into this movie
54th: The Northman Rating: 3.5/10 What should have been a bloody, gruesome and interesting revenge story was a boring and uninteresting film. The Northman is a waste of 2 hours although it had some very good visuals.
53rd: Nope Rating: 3.5/10 Nope takes what could have been a interesting story and turns it into a dull, dumb false horror. Nope I would not recommend this cheap, anti-horrifying waste of talent.
52nd: Amsterdam Rating: 4.5/10 You know it’s bad when Morbius, which has the same rating from me, is way better than this. Amsterdam doesn’t feel like a real life story and more made for a high school in England so students could analyse in English. Embarrassing
51st: Morbius Rating: 4.5/10 I watched this film on streaming after all the bad reviews but although I was glad I did, I honestly think this film is underrated. Morbius deliverers some very good CGI and intense moments but crumbled at the end.
50th: Hocus Pocus 2 Rating: 5/10 As a Hocus Pocus fan, I’ll admit this is a indirect, lazy and copycat of a sequel of the flawless predecessor. Hocus Pocus 2 sadly cannot find what made the original so good and is made out of scraps from the original
49th: Violent Night Rating: 5/10 Just because the jokes were clever and something I wouldn’t have thought of, that doesn’t mean it is good at all. It was rather bad. Half-cooked ideas in a cold oven leaves Violent Night a frustrating, childish watch which is a copycat mix of Home Alone and Die Hard
48th: The Gray Man Rating: 5/10 The Gray Man is a story of 2 half’s. On one side you have entertaining action scenes and on the other, you have boredom and a terrible premise.
47th: The Lost City Rating: 5.5/10 The Lost City is a boringly lacklustre, childish waste of what could have been comedy gold with a ok-ish story and unfunny jokes. A message to Thor: Love And Thunder haters, you are attacking the wrong comedy film
46th: Enola Holmes 2 Rating: 5.5/10 Despite the funny jokes and interesting characters on show in here, the plot that felt forgotten about by the writers and director brings a bitter taste to Enola Holmes 2
45th: Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Rating: 5.5/10 As a MCU fan, even I will admit that this is among the most disappointing MCU films ever. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness fails to deliver on what it should have been (best MCU film to date).
44th: The Batman Rating: 6/10 The Batman is a scenario where 2 things that are good on their own do not work together. This film has so many problems and couldn’t fix it with the 3 hours it had.
43rd: See How They Run Rating: 6/10 Frustrating dull for a whodunnit advertised with the quote “the greatest murder ever staged” See How They Run is a dull, unfunny whodunnit that fails to be great and is just weak
42nd: Memory Rating: 6/10 Memory is not very memorable, even for Liam Neeson. The build up may have been so bad but the undeserving second half so good and ultimately picked back up. Liam Neeson was fantastic
41st: Spirited Rating: 6/10 Could have lived without but the songs were something I didn’t know I needed. Spirited does sabotage itself with its own issues but picks up over time to make a fun, rewatchable movie
40th: All Quiet On The Western Front Rating: 6/10 “All Bad On The Filmmaking Front” would have been a better title for this overhyped, half cooked waste of a war movie. I definitely had my expectations too high for All Quiet On The Western Front
39th: The Adam Project Rating: 6/10 The Adam Project is a enjoyable film that is worth a watch and the time. If you decide to watch this film, don’t expect big things.
38th: Lightyear Rating: 6.5/10 The Toy Story franchise goes off course with this movie. Lightyear is the literal term of The Good, The Bad And The Ugly. While it is enjoyable for the majority, it is a very frustrating and rocky film with constant issues to create a undeserving spinoff
37th: Spiderhead Rating: 6.5/10 I actually don’t mind this film. Spiderhead does leave me partly confused but is mostly enjoyable and was brought together by an interesting story (The actors were fantastic).
36th: Beast Rating: 6.5/10 Like Regigigas from Pokémon, it was a slow start but good from then on. While Beast does have its dum moments, it still is a fun and good film.
35th: The Woman King Rating: 6.5/10 This just proves why I hate review bombers. The Woman King was definitely dragged out for too long, but it has great performances and action in store for you to feast on
34th: Prey Rating: 6.5/10 I have never watched the Predator franchise, for now that is. Prey is certainly overrated but it is a good film at the same time. If some parts were done differently, it would have been better.
33rd: Thor: Love And Thunder Rating: 6.5/10 A rocky MCU comedy ride. Thor: Love And Thunder has good jokes that I think fit well with the movie but it just doesn’t feel like a film that should be in the MCU. This movie doesn’t take a idiot to solve as it had quite a few problems aswell
32nd: Lou Rating: 7/10 With a amazing first half full of attention and entertainment, Lou crumbles under the momentum that this film had and just falls short of what could have been an amazing film.
31st: Barbarian Rating: 7/10 I think critics on Rotten Tomatoes got this mixed up with Bullet Train. Following a intriguing, interesting first half of Barbarian, the second half was pretty clueless and ultimately ran out of story. This film flukes its good rating
30th: The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent Rating: 7/10 Even if I am not a Nicolas Cage fan, I will admit that this is a fun movie. The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent deliverers of some very good laughs and is the perfect family film
29th: Hustle Rating: 7/10 NBA fans are going to absolutely love this (I don’t watch NBA). Hustle is a fantastic sports drama with perfect castings all round making for a interesting movie.
28th: Samaritan Rating: 7/10 Samaritan failed to deliver on the hype I hype I had for it since I first heard about this movie (when the trailer came out). While I did enjoy this movie, it was underwhelming and could have been better.
27th: Thirteen Lives Rating: 7.5/10 One of Amazon Prime’s best movies yet. Thirteen Lives does the unthinkable and recreates what was already an unlikely success and brings the magic of interest to the greatest rescue mission ever
26th: Black Adam Rating: 7.5/10 A rare DC win with the clever and unforced comedy it brings with it. Black Adam is a compelling, funny movie with an outstanding Dwayne Johnson and great action. All round goodness here
25th: Moonfall Rating: 7.5/10 This is easily one of my favourite apocalypse movies. Moonfall is a fun, interesting and suspenseful apocalyptic movie where most of it was done right.
24th: Jurassic World: Dominion Rating: 8/10 While this movie isn’t mainly about dinosaurs, I thought it was still good, but die hard Jurassic Park fans may be disappointed with this. Jurassic World: Dominion closes out the Jurassic Park franchise with one last enjoyable success to create a satisfying ending
23rd: The Bad Guys Rating: 8/10 The Bad Guys is a family fun, entertaining animated heist movie which will keep you, besides the iffy 3rd act that was overly wild, interested in the story until the end. Kids are going to absolutely love this movie
22nd: Bullet Train Rating: 8/10 Bullet Train delivers massively on what I was not expecting. Forget the title “Biggest action movie of the summer”, this is more best comedy movie of the summer with it’s funny jokes that fit well
21st: Death On The Nile Rating: 8/10 Excellent set up and nailed it when the suspension was needed most. Death On The Nile is built from the pyramids up to create a fantastic, interesting, compelling murder mystery.
20th: Ambulance Rating: 8.5/10 Ambulance is a fantastic and entertaining action film where the action almost lasts the whole movie. You will just have to wait around 30 mins to get into the goodness this films holds.
19th: Minions: The Rise Of Gru Rating: 8.5/10 Kids may not understand the pop culture references, it surely doesn’t matter to them, right? Minions: The Rise Of Gru is a roller coaster of comedy with jokes almost every 5 mins. It might me a little to silly, but the good time this movie brings makes up for thag
18th: Avatar: The Way Of Water Rating: 8.5/10 The worse Avatar is the highest grossing movie of all time but the better Avatar likely won’t. How does that make sense? Avatar: The Way Of Water just proves further that you cannot bet against James Cameron. I’ll be controversial here, the CGI and visuals are going to age horribly
17th: Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Rating: 8.5/10 Rian Johnson delivers an unpredictable and mysterious, like it should be because it’s a whodunnit, wooden package with great comedy and just a bunch of fun with Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
16th: Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio Rating: 8.5/10 The other Pinocchio from this year is slightly better, that doesn’t mean Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio is bad, it’s actually very good in fact. I enjoyed it mainly because it felt different, and that’s good. Stop motion was a great choice
15th: DC League Of Superpets Rating: 9/10 I enjoyed the trailers and it lived up to the hype I had. DC League Of Superpets takes the funniest stuff it could find and places it in this film, leading to another fantastic Dwayne Johnson lead comedy.
14th: Strange World Rating: 9/10 Strange World may be so familiar but it brings a great plot, fantastic emotion and edge of seat thrills to make this forgivable and enjoyable. Only thing wrong is that 2 moths after seeing it, I have a bit of a bad taste of if it’s as good as I hyped it up to be
13th: Uncharted Rating: 9/10 I didn’t play the Uncharted games, but it’s unnecessary. Uncharted delivers on the thrills all video game based movies should have.
12th: Pinocchio Rating: 9/10 I honestly don’t understand why people don’t like this, maybe I should have watched the original first. Pinocchio is a great remake of the 1940’s classic but The Blue Fairy is easily the weakest link here and rose up to the fun in store after she left
11th: The Menu Rating: 9/10 The Menu is so unpredictable and you will be surprised at every corner. Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes were fantastic. Wonderful surprises await you all in this unpredictable, brilliant movie.
10th: Elvis Rating: 9/10 This film Deserves Oscars (with a capital D), especially for Baz Luhrmann’s direction and Austin Butler’s performance. Elvis fan or not, Elvis is for everyone and it is absolutely fantastic
9th: RRR Rating: 9/10 With outstanding performances and an amazing Bheem, RRR becomes a Bollywood WWW and the first film longer than 3 hours that I actually liked. This film deserves all the praise it gets for everything I’ve said
8th: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Rating: 9.5/10 Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a beautiful, amazing, fantastic tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman which, against all odds, also became one of the best MCU movies
7th: The Banshees Of Inisherin Rating: 9.5/10 Outstanding performances plus compelling story creates an gripping comedy drama. Look at these reviews and watch The Banshees Of Inisherin because I promise it will not disappoint (unless you have way too high expectations). Colin Farrell for the Oscars? Great performance but I think Brendan Fraser will be better (I’m English not American)
6th: Fall Rating: 9.5/10 Probably just one nail away from perfection. Fall does a absolutely amazing job as a thriller and delivers on some really memorable moments, resulting in a amazing survival thriller
5th: Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Rating: 9.5/10 From plot to castings of new characters, this movie is just amazing. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is undoubtedly the best video game movie (that I’ve watched) and is not afraid to take risks, especially with runtime, but it’s all worth it
4th: Turning Red Rating: 10/10 Turning Red was through and through amazing, even with its hitting twists. From its characters to its story to its fitting humour, it all works and fits fantastically
3rd: Everything Everywhere All At Once Rating: 10/10 Everything Everywhere All At Once manages to achieve what it set out to be, a original, weird, masterpiece of a movie where everything is done to perfection.
2nd: The Black Phone Rating: 10/10 The Black Phone is a masterpiece of horror and entertainment. This film grabs your attention whatever it does and it takes basic stuff and takes it to the next level.
1st: Top Gun: Maverick Rating: 10/10 Had no expectations going in because I wasn’t a fan of the trailers, coming out, I was amazed and in awe of this masterpiece. Top Gun: Maverick is the BEST piece of cinema I’ve ever seen in my life (better than Spider-Man: No Way Home) and is inch perfect and amazing with everything. This is also my favourite (and best) movie of all time
