Multitalented and versatile. Comedy is by far not one of her most well known talents, and yet she's even good at that. Daud, Aflatoon, Hum Tum Pe Marte Hain, Kunwara... she always makes me laugh in Daud to this day, with Sanjay Dutt, and I've seen the movie 100 times.
Daud, Munna Bhai series, Jodi No. 1, Ek Aur Ek Gyarah. Sunjau Dutt isn't known as a comedian, but he's best when he's being funny.
One of the top reasons I loved to watch Radio Active was because Vik was always hilarious in every episode he was in. So were his co-stars, actually. One of the funniest Canadian shows of all time.
Pretty much entirely for Fresh Prince of Bel Air, one of the funniest shows of all time.
She's not known enough for her comedic talents. Somehow she always managed to deliver comedic lines perfectly and effortlessly, in some of the greatest comedies of all time - Some Like it Hot, Gentleman Prefer Blondes, The Seven Year Itch. She was literally the funniest part of Monkey Business as a side role in a movie with Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers, and that's saying a lot!
She's the hilarity powerhouse in both Romy & Michelle and Mighty Aphrodite, among others. On top of that she's just great actress... her take on Marilyn Monroe is actually my favourite.
Arsenic and Old Lace is reason enough by its self, but it's not the only reason.
Probably the first woman to make me laugh until breathless, when I watched One Two Ka Four as a kid. Also hilarious in Duplicate, Yes Boss, Ishq, and among others.
Safety Last is still one of the funniest movies ever. Especially if you watch it with someone that's afraid of heights.
She was equally as funny as anyone else, if not more, in one of my favorite movies and comedies of all time, Clue (1985). Since then I've come to see her in more movies and she's always funny. Definitely one of the great comedians of all time.
In his younger roles he was capable of being absolutely hilarious. He still has the reputation of having some of the funniest scenes in Indian cinema history. But even later on in his years, he was lead in one of my favortie and funniest Indian movies of all time, in my opinion - Kohram.
Most people wouldn't agree with me, but Kohram is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, my kind of comedy, and he's the biggest reason why. His interactions with Amitabh Bachchan should be considered legendary.
No, he didn't make me laugh as much as the Fresh Prince, but he got damn near close!
I don't think she gets enough credit for her deadpan humor. The humor from her character in Fresh Prince (Hilary) really contrasted with the more insane and animated comedy of the guys in the show. I didn't laugh as much as kid, but watching her now it's like a whole new side of the show opened up to me.
Legendary for his comedic performance in Sholay, among many other comedy roles.
Probably the greatest comedy genius in Bollywood history, if not for his comedic roles and acting, then for his comedic stories and directing. A true legend. You can't watch Indian comedy and not run into Kader Khan multiple times and laugh a lot.
He voiced a motorcycle! Not to mention the Engrish cat-dad of Osaka in Azumanga Daioh. His epic voice is so legendary that whenever he voices strange characters instead of serious characters that suit his voice, it's just that much more funny.
I am so glad he gave up on trying to do serious and emotional or action-packed roles, this world would be so much duller without Govinda's comedy. And his dancing! This man has more dance in one finger than most Indian actors have in their whole body... the only issue with that is that it just looks hilarious. So many lines and scenes have been repeated in my household growing up. Anari No. 1, Hadh Kar Di Aapne, Hum Tum Pe Marte Hain, Kunwara, Ek Aur Ek Gyarah, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Jodi No. 1, Raja Bhaiya (he somehow magically and randomly gets the power to disappear and teleport during a fight scene, to the point he ends up from the ground into an airplane).
Padosan. That's all I need to say. Btw, this is one of India's most legendary music composers, why does he also get to be so hilarious? Strange combination.
One of the last, great US film comedians, imo. Airplane is legendary, but also the Naked Gun trilogy, and he's the funniest part of pretty much every movie he's in. On top of that, he was in some amazing movies in his younger days, especially the scifi classic, Forbidden Planet.
As Elaine in Seinfeld, for me she was the funniest in the show next to Kramer (Michale Richards).
When Kramer's hair catches fire in Seinfeld, he was forever a comedy legend in my eyes.
She, Vik, and Giancarlo were the absolute funniest people on Radio Active.
He was amazingly hilarious in Radio Active, but also great in Fries With That. For me, this is one of the funniest people in Canadian TV history, as are the rest of the Radio Active cast.
Made some of the funniest and most unfluencial cartoon shorts of all time. Any of his Wolf and Babe cartoons are beyond hilarious (like Red Hot Riding Hood). Very little can match them.
One of the few animators and cartoonists who can come close to Tex Avery's genius.
The voice of the iconic "Red" in Tex Avery's Red Hot Riding Hood, as well as the dancing girl in other famous Tex shorts, like Swing Shift Cinderella and some Droopy cartoons.
He's not mainly known as a comedian, but on top of being a great actor he's often also really hilarious in so many movies, like - Ishq, Andaaz Apna Apna, Rangeela, Mela, Ghulam, and Rang De Basanti.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She's the reason why I prefer the movie over the show. She's also the reason why I gave Dude Where's My Car a shot and ended up actually liking it... too bad her role was so small in that movie, but when she was there, she was funny.
Not as well known of a bombshell compared to Marilyn Monroe but probably better known as a comedian compared to her. She's a comedic force in so many movies, not just Gentleman Prefer Blondes.
Director of some of the greatest comedies of all time, like Some Like It Hot.
Does not get enough credit for her comedy and comedic delivery, much like Marilyn Monroe. One of her highest rated things on IMDB is the comedy Stacked, where she plays the lead role. She was also hilarious on VIP and some later Baywatch episodes.
So versatile as she started as an 80s "scream queen" with Halloween but ended the decade doing two of the most recent good comedy classics of our time - A Fish Called Wanda and Trading Places. There was also Fierce Creatures. But the first time she made me laugh was actually in True Lies.
I can't count the amount of times she made me laugh in Relic Hunter, not to mention all her comedic movies - Wayne's World and High School High being among the most notable.
Hilarious in Kingpin, but before that I was laughing as a kid watching Weird Science the TV series.
