Sister of Christopher Henn.

Received her Bachelor's degree in liberal studies and child development from California State University, Stanislaus. [June 2000]

Her father was in the United States Air Force, and Carrie spent much of her childhood in England. It was at a school in Lakenheath that she was cast in Aliens (1986).

Spent many years of her childhood residing in England. Because of that, she had adopted pieces of English accent, which can be noticed in some of her lines in Aliens (1986).

Had no acting experience (school plays, commercials, etc.) prior to Aliens (1986) in 1986. Since then, she has not performed in any other motion pictures or television series. However, Carrie has said that she'd love to do a Quentin Tarantino film.

She was awarded the 1987 Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actress as Rebecca "Newt" Jordan in Aliens (1986).

Despite her lack of acting experience, she received second billing to her co-star Sigourney Weaver in Aliens (1986).

She and Aliens (1986) co-star, Sigourney Weaver currently remain in contact by letter.

As an adult, she worked as a schoolteacher near Stanislaus County, California.

Attended the San Diego Comic-Con for the 30th Anniversary reunion of the Aliens (1986) cast members. [June 2016]
