Lindsay Lohan may not like watching her own movies, but admitted she got emotional when she saw her son watching one of her beloved films.
The actress stopped by The Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday, where the host asked her whether she watches the films she had starred in. Drew Barrymore noted that she can’t because it feels “indulgent.”
While Lohan said she doesn’t seek out her movies, she will occasionally have one on in the background. “I mean, if someone wants to watch it and I’m there, I put it on and I’m like cooking in the kitchen or I have to run upstairs or I’m busy doing something else, ’cause it’s hearing my voice that I’m like, ‘Eh,'” she explained.

Celebrity couples are beloved amongst fans, but perhaps not as much as celebrity best friendships. And among those friendships, few are as revered as Lisa Ann Walter’s friendship with her “Parent Trap” co-star Elaine Hendrix — but that relationship doesn’t mean you’ll see Hendrix on “Abbott Elementary.”
Walter, of course, stars on the ABC comedy as Melissa Schemmenti, one of Abbott’s best, but a little bit terrifying, teachers. But, before there was “Abbott Elementary,” there was the 1998 version of “The Parent Trap,” in which Walter starred as Chessy, the live-in nanny and housekeeper for Hallie.
It was on that film that she met Elaine Hendrix, who starred as Meredith Blake, and the two became fast friends. Over the years, their friendship is one that’s endured, and Hendrix even accompanied Walter to this year’s SAG Awards. So, it’s hard not to wonder if she might pop up on “Abbott Elementary.

Fans are loving Parent Trap stars Elaine Hendrix and Lisa Ann Walter’s reunion on the red carpet at this year’s SAG Awards.

During the awards ceremony on Sunday, Walter attended the event with her former co-star by her side. For the occasion, the Abbott Elementary star wore a black lace off-the shoulder gown with a deep v-neckline. She paired the outfit with a silver necklace, earrings and red lipstick.

The SAG Awards red carpet was flooded with celebrity friends reuniting on Feb. 26. As old friends and former costars shared laughs and posed for photos, new connections were also formed. During the award show, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Zendaya met for the first time, and neither actor could hold in their excitement.
Like Adele having her dreams realized by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at the Grammys, Ralph and Zendaya looked genuinely surprised to see each other in person for the first time. Between award presentations, Zendaya walked over to introduce herself to Ralph, smiling as she extended a hand to the Emmy-winning actor. While both stars were visibly excited, Ralph's face was the epitome of shock and delight.
Grasping each other's hands, the duo also appeared to exchange words of praise and adoration. While it's unclear what exactly Zendaya and Ralph discussed, we have no doubt that the impressive actors...

"Abbott Elementary" character Melissa Schemmenti is a ton of fun. The second-grade teacher takes no sh*t and always seems to know a guy. Lisa Ann Walter, the actress who plays Melissa, had a very memorable role in an iconic movie that made a mark on most millennials.

Meredith Blake and Chessy are together once more! Et’s Denny Directo spoke to Lisa Ann Walter and Elaine Hendrix at the 2023 SAG Awards Sunday, where they shared how the epic “Parent Trap” reunion came to be.
“Well, I invited my date, but then my date flew, and it took her nineteen hours to get here because of the weather, and a little diversion to Vegas, three other planes that were made late and she got here,” the “Abbott Elementary” star explained.
“I got here, and I was determined,” Hendrix said about ensuring that she made it to the SAG Awards Sunday. “She asked me to be her date, I showed up as her date.”
Hendrix dressed the part too, rocking a fitted tuxedo. Walter, meanwhile, was in a black strapless gown that was the perfect match for the old Hollywood glam vibe the pair were serving on the red carpet.

Lisa Ann Walter, aka Melissa on "Abbott Elementary," had a different cast reunion on the SAG Awards red carpet on Feb. 26. Walter starred as Chessy in 1998's "The Parent Trap," and she brought her costar from that movie, Elaine Hendrix (aka the villainous Meredith) with her to the awards show. The duo laughed together as they posed on the carpet before the event. Walter wore a long flowing gown, while Hendrix opted for a classic tuxedo, accessorized with a sparkling clutch.
Walter and Hendrix have stayed friends since they filmed the movie, which turns 25 this summer. In 2021, they re-created one of their scenes together on social media, with Hendrix-as-Meredith ringing a tiny bell to call a fed-up Chessy. The duo opened up about their long-standing friendship in a 2019 interview with Vanity Fair. Walters said at the time, "Elaine is family. She knows all my kids, and we don't need anybody else.

Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren't considered, we invite you to rate all of the fifth season episodes of Dynasty here. *Status Update Below.

If you enjoy watching Carrington catfights and drama, you won't find them in the 2022-23 broadcast season. The CW has cancelled the Dynasty series so, we won't see a sixth season of the reboot. The fifth season is currently airing and, at this point, looks like it will keep running through June. It's unclear when the last episode will be released.

There will be no Season 6 for the CW’s Dynasty. The CW has opted not to renew the reboot of the iconic 1980s soap, and it will end with the current fifth season.
Dynasty was considered among the most vulnerable CW series to snag a renewal. It was the victim of disappointing ratings and its previous renewals, along with 4400, had been motivated by the money the series generates for CBS Studios through the show’s Netflix deal.
Dynasty hails from Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, CBS Studios and Fake Empire. Schwartz and Savage teamed with Revenge writer-producer Sallie Patrick and the original series’ creators, husband-and-wife duo Esther Shapiro & Richard Shapiro, for a new modern-day reboot of the classic Aaron Spelling-produced ABC series.

The Carringtons make a special appearance on Monday night as they head into Dynasty Season 5. Back-to-back episodes pick up from October’s shocking finale, when media mogul Fallon was gunned down by her evil assistant, Eva (Kara Royster). Now it’s touch and go at the hospital as Carrington patriarch Blake (Grant Show) waits by his daughter’s bedside. “We get some great moments where he talks about how proud he is of her and how he can’t lose her,” says showrunner Josh Reims. “It’s a vulnerable side of Blake that we never really see.” That cliffhanger and the plot by jealous brother-in-law Beto (Geovanni Gopradi) to assassinate Blake will soon be wrapped up “in one way or another,” Reims promises. In the Christmassy second hour, “we do things we don’t normally do,” Reims notes, but there’s still drama. Alexis (Elaine Hendrix) is set to spend the holidays behind bars,...

Fallon Carrington could be dead.
The CW has dropped the first trailer for Dynasty Season 5, and, well, it sounds like the first two episodes will be a somber affair.
While Blake is seen getting the mansion prepared for Christmas, he doesn't seem to be in the festive mood.
If you watch Dynasty online, you know Dynasty Season 4 wrapped with Eva turning a gun on Fallon, leaving fans to ponder her future.
The only positive is that The CW is airing the first two episodes of Dynasty Season 5 on December 20, before the series goes on hiatus until March.
The two-episode premiere landed a place on the network's holiday roster because, well, they were filmed and had a holiday theme.
Fallon is nowhere to be seen in the trailer, but Liam looks super upset in a quick glimpse.
In fact, everyone is clearly struggling to comprehend recent events, but this being Dynasty,...

Are you ready to celebrate Christmas with the Carringtons?
Dynasty Season 4 concluded with Fallon shot, Alexis in jail for a murder she did not commit, and more drama for the characters.
Thankfully, The CW is giving fans a holiday treat on Monday, December 20, in the form of the first two episodes of Dynasty Season 5.
The network also revealed a wealth of plot details, and if we're to read between the lines, Fallon Carrington is gone.
Then again, the network knows this is a massive cliffhanger that will be resolved throughout the two-hour Holiday special, so Fallon could likely have survived.
"Fallout from Blake's (Grant Show) gala finally begins to settle and Blake and Cristal (Daniella Alonso) work on the next phase of his campaign," reads the logline for the first half of the event.
"In his hour of need, Liam (Adam Huber) turns to Sam (Rafael de la Fuente) and...

Are you ready to say goodbye to the Carringtons?
Dynasty Season 4 Episode 22 will conclude the current season of the soapy drama, and it's going to be a lot of fun.
"Blake (Grant Show) and Cristal (Daniella Alonso) work together on the new obstacles threatening Blake's senatorial campaign," reads the official logline from the network.
If you watch Dynasty online, you know the series has laned heavily on Blake's pursuit of power on a political front.
With the season finale upon us, we can expect some wild developments on the back of it.
We'll probably also get a throwback to a moment from the past for good measure.
But, what will happen between Fallon, Liam, and Eva?
"Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) turns to Amanda (guest star Eliza Bennett) for help regarding Liam (Adam Huber) and their marriage."
We know Eva is ready to change everything for Liam and Fallon, thanks to her manipulation.

Elaine Hendrix had a brilliant beyond brilliant idea. And no, it wasn't swapping places with your long lost twin sister after meeting at summer camp or even eating Oreos with peanut butter. The Parent Trap actress blessed every last one of her TikTok followers by recreating one of the most savage scenes of the 1998 movie, starring Lindsay Lohan. Elaine, who played 26-year-old stepmom-to-be Meredith Blake, reunited with co-star Lisa Ann Walter, who portrayed lovable housekeeper and substitute mom Chessy. Together, they reenacted the scene where Meredith rudely rings a bell to call Chessy over to order martinis. Elaine, now 50, was seen in...

Fallon's devotion to Fallon Unlimited is messing with her relationship.
The CW has dropped plot details for Dynasty Season 4 Episode 17, and, well, there might be some good news on the horizon.
"Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) remains hyper-focused on Fallon Unlimited, but realizes she needs some time with Liam (Adam Huber)," the description begins.
If you watch Dynasty online, you know Eva has been getting closer to Liam, regularly trying to help him when she doesn't need to.
Some comments from her would not sit well with Fallon, but this being Dynasty, we should prepare for Falliam to be tested like never before.
"Kirby (Maddison Brown) returns to the Manor and begins to make amends with those she hurt, with help from Sam (Rafael de la Fuente)," the logline continues.
Yes, Kirby is finally back, and we're sure there's going to be a lot of tension on the back of it.

If there's one thing Dynasty Season 4 has lacked, it's the complicated dynamic between Fallon and Alexis.
Thankfully, Dynasty Season 4 Episode 15 puts the focus back on the fraught relationship between the mother and daughter.
"With Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) occupied by her business ventures, Liam (Adam Huber) is left feeling neglected and Fallon and Alexis (Elaine Hendrix) are at odds once again," the official logline reads.
If you watch Dynasty online, you know these two love getting into an argument and it gives Gillies and Hendrix a fun dynamic to work with.
The sad thing is that it looks like Liam's tale will be tied to it. The show has sort of forgotten about Liam this season, regularly putting him on the backburner, so hopefully that changes.
As for Alexis, she's going to be in a world of trouble when the truth inevitably comes out that she's partly responsible for Kirby going off the deep end.

I think we can all agree that Dynasty is killing off one of its female characters.
Dynasty Season 4 Episode 11 continued to peel back the layers to give us a new wave of potential victims, and quite frankly, it's going the predictable route.
Cristal dying at this stage would be too on the nose because of everything she's been through throughout the last two seasons.
Add in the fact that the show has had three iterations of the character, then we get our answer that she most definitely is not dying.
Her prognosis is bleak, but Dynasty has never been a show about keeping things grounded.
The purpose of the show is to have the most outlandish plots out there, and Adam threatening Karen to get the clinical trial off the ground was just par for the course.
Threatening Karen was a huge move, but he got the result he wanted,...

That's the Dynasty we know and love!
Dynasty Season 4 Episode 9 introduced a scene-stealing new character played by Laura Leighton, peeled back the layers on the dynamic between Alexis and Dominique, and so much more.
It was crazy, filled with soapy goodness, and may well be gasp, the best episode of the series.
Let's dig in!
Leighton's arrival found the show staging a Melrose Place reunion as she reunited with Grant Show.
I'm still not buying Blake working with Fallon at Fallon Unlimited, but if it keeps them on the same side for longer, it's worthwhile in my book.
Corinne was poised to be a villain thanks to Leighton's previous roles, but Corinne was probably one of the most genuine characters to grace the series.
Digging into Liam's past is an exciting direction to take things, and if Corinne knows all about the dodgy dealings that may or may not have killed his father,...

Fox’s NFL pregame coverage will include a special treat for Denis Leary fans and animation aficionados in the form of two football-oriented animated shorts.
Fox Entertainment announced on Friday that it will premiere two animated shorts based on the Icebox series “Poker Night,” inspired by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge’s iconic 1900s art series, “Dogs Playing Poker.” Per Fox, “Dogs Playing Poker” centers on five dog friends — Brownie (Leary), Daphne, Ditka, Froyo, and Stan — as they banter about football and other timely sports topics.

“’You are one of the few designers that can open a movie,’” costumer Mona May recalls Happy Madison co-founder Jack Giarraputo once telling her. Perhaps no appraisal can sum up the fashion-design-trained May’s auteur-like contribution to cinema as succinctly.
Her bold colors, unapologetically soft silhouettes and feathery boas — signature touches that at once highlight comedy, beauty and authenticity — helped define a genre of film. From “Never Been Kissed” to “Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion,” “Enchanted” (for which she was nominated for a Costume Designers Guild Award) to “The House Bunny” to Amy Heckerling’s seminal Jane Austen spinoff “Clueless” (now celebrating its 25th anniversary), young women in search of their identity are the backbone of a number of May-costumed movies. The designer says those films feature stories of women “learning something very feminine about feeling good in [their] skin,” adding, “This is my life message: being free, in love,...

Earlier this week, the cast of 1998’s “The Parent Trap” reunited for the first time since the movie was made. The film’s stars Dennis Quaid, Lindsay Lohan (who played twins Annie and Hallie) and Elaine Hendrix (Meredith Blake) joined Katie Couric to reminisce.
Variety caught up with Quaid, who plays Nick Parker in the film, to talk about his memories, what he remembers about meeting Lindsay Lohan for the first time, whether he’d want to do a “Parent Trap” sequel and his memories of the late Natasha Richardson, who played Elizabeth James. Quaid also talks about his new podcast production company Audio Up and teases a new animated podcast series.
