Alba Rosa Albanese is an American actress born in Brooklyn, New York to Brazilian and Italian parents. She speaks several languages and has a multi-cultural heritage. The New York Times penned "Alba is a Slithering Siren as the Red Queen." in her first on-stage performance. She's worked on several TV Shows and Films, including; NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001), AMC's Dietland (2018), Amazon's The Tick (2016), Netflix's The Good Cop (2018), Darren Aronofsky's Noah (2014), Joss Whedon's The Avengers (2012), Tony Scott's The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009), CBS FBI: Most Wanted (2020), Michael Cuesta's Tell Tale (2009), The Shoemaker (2012), and in Showtime's Billions (2016). Alba is a graduate of the Sanford Meisner Conservatory programs in New York City, she trained with William Esper 2001-2005, Maggie Flanigan 2007-2010, and with Terry Knickerbocker 2021-2020. She studied classical theater at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, with Alec Baldwin at South Hampton College, and at the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum with Ellen Geer in Los Angeles. In theatre, Alba performed, created, and wrote her character in the Off-Broadway show, Sleep No More from 2011-2017. She wrote the book and lyrics and is the creator, writer, and performer in the Off-Broadway immersive musical, Serenade, which was featured in The New York Times and The New York Times Explorer.
