Alba Albanese

Alba Albanese is an actor and multidisciplinary artist from Brooklyn, New York. Born to Brazilian and Italian parents. She is a graduate of the renowned Sanford Meisner conservatories in New York City, where she studied under esteemed mentors William Esper, Maggie Flanigan, and Terry Knickerbocker. She further honed her skills at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, studied classical theater with Alec Baldwin at Southampton College, and trained in Shakespeare at both the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum in Los Angeles and The New School in New York, establishing a solid foundation in both classical and contemporary performance.

Her attention to character work, shine in her seven-year tenure with the immersive Off-Broadway production Sleep No More, where she brought dynamic evolution to her character. This same commitment extended to her role as the creator, writer, and star of the Off-Broadway immersive musical Serenade, praised by The New York Times. Her one-woman show, The Raven, performed at the American Irish Historical Society and selected for the New York Film Festival, merged classical theater with cutting-edge technology in partnership with Microsoft.

Her groundbreaking live performances have been showcased at prestigious festivals, including the Future of Storytelling Summit, Tribeca Film Festival, and Lincoln Center's New York Film Festival, earning widespread acclaim. Driven by her passion for amplifying diverse narratives, Alba has been honored with prestigious grants and awards, including the New York City Artists Corps and the NYFA Artist Grant. Her remarkable ability to embody complex characters and deliver compelling performances across theater, film, and television cements her reputation as a dynamic and multifaceted artist.
