Per ComicBook, the official Instagram page for Teenage Euthanasia has been updated, heavily hinting that the show will not continue on for a third season. "Like Trophy's heart, this show is dead," the bio reads, referring to one of the show's characters, Trophy Fantasy. The last post on the Teenage Euthanasia Instagram was in October 2023, and the recent change seems to indicate that no new episodes of the underrated sitcom will be on the way.

The trailer for the mockumentary film Micro Budget features an array of notable comedy stars and launches ahead of the project’s festival debut later this month.

The Hollywood Reporter’s exclusive first look at the promo teases the comedy feature from director and co-writer Morgan Evans. Brandon Micheal Hall, Bobby Moynihan, Chris Parnell and Patrick Noth star in Micro Budget, which centers on clueless father-to-be Terry (Noth), who moves with his pregnant wife to Los Angeles to shoot a low-budget disaster movie that he aims to sell to a streaming service for a big profit.

For the most part, the same voice cast members are reprising their roles for Kite Man: Hell Yeah!, the new Harley Quinn spinoff series. However, there was one notable recasting which came down to scheduling issues.

In Harley Quinn, the supervillain Lex Luthor was voiced by Better Call Saul star Giancarlo Esposito. Late actor Lance Reddick took over the role for Kite Man: Hell Yeah!, which was previously announced. This marks the very last television role for Reddick, who passed away unexpectedly in 2023. In an interview with The Direct, series co-creator Dean Lorey confirmed that scheduling conflicts forced the recasting, but that the show's team was nevertheless thrilled with how Reddick was ultimately "perfect" for the part.

Kite Man: Hell Yeah! will be Lance Reddick's final television credit. Dean Lorey, who developed the Harley Quinn spinoff series and serves as an executive producer, has opened up about the late actor's performance as the iconic Superman villain, Lex Luthor.

In an interview with Collider to promote the Max original animated series, Lorey touched on how the success of Harley Quinn made it easier to get more prominent actors like Reddick to sign on for voice roles in Kite Man. "Well, Harley helped because Harley was a hit, and it was becoming kind of a cool thing to do. We just went after actors that we loved and never imagined would say yes, and they virtually all did," Lorey explained. "We just kept going, 'Well, why not ask Jonathan Banks? Maybe he'll do it.' We just slowly put together the cast that way. But that's pretty much how Harley happened.

Exclusive: Micro Budget is a comedy feature about an aspiring director who recklessly moves himself and his nine-months-pregnant actress wife from Iowa to LA to shoot a low-budget indie movie and sell it to a streamer for a “fuck-ton of money”. Sound familiar?
