  • Trivia
Brunette star of the 1920s who came to Hollywood without any prior acting experience. Began in westerns and was at various times under contract with Fox and Goldwyn. Her rather husky voice was deemed too much of a contrast to her appearance. As a result, her status declined with the advent of sound. However, she did spend another 15 years gainfully employed in "no-name" bit parts.
