Exclusive: Jake Choi (Single Parents) has signed on to star alongside Lil Rel Howery, Yvonne Orji, John Cena and Meredith Hagner in 20th Century Studios’ Vacation Friends sequel Honeymoon Friends for Hulu.

Clay Tarver directed the buddy comedy from his script co-written by Tom Mullen, Tim Mullen, Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, seeing it score Hulu’s biggest opening weekend for an original title, though the Predator franchise prequel Prey has since trumped it. Todd Garner and Timothy M. Bourne produced, with Steve Pink and Sean Robins exec producing.

Rebel Wilson is going back to high school. Or at least, she’s going back to her senior year in Netflix’s upcoming comedy.
Apparently, Wilson’s character — or at least, her teenage self — had a pretty great life. She was cheer captain, was dating the hottest guy in school and was on track to become prom queen. But, after a bad accident during a cheer routine, she ends up in a coma for 20 years.
When she wakes up, she must cope with everything being different — well, except for her room. Apparently her parents couldn’t bear to change anything while she was comatose, meaning her bedroom walls are still covered in relics from 2002..

Killer gummy bears, deadly ventriloquist dolls, and creepy creatures, oh my.
Sony’s first trailer for “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween” explores these childhood horrors. The film follows a pair of friends — portrayed by “It” star Jeremy Ray Taylor and “Castle Rock’s” Caleel Harris — who enter a dilapidated old house occupied by famed author R.L. Stine. “I don’t think this house is giving out candy,” Harris’ character muses.
Taylor decides to open a locked book that unleashes Slappy the Dummy, who snarls, “Did you miss me?”
Mayhem ensues as other creatures come to life. By the end of the trailer, the kids are being menaced by a group of angry gummy bears.
The cast includes Wendi McLendon-Covey, Madison Iseman, Chris Parnell, and Ken Jeong. Ari Sandel — whose credits range from “The Duff” to “When We First Met” — directs from a script by Rod Lieber.
