End Times, the post-apocalyptic zombie film starring horror icon Jamie Bernadette and Craig Stark is out now in limited theaters and on VOD. Jim Towns, writes and directs and The Asylum distributes the feature.
End Times follows a pair of mismatched travelers, Claire and Freddie (Bernadette and Stark), as they try to escape a deadly pandemic that has turned Los Angeles into a zombie-infested wasteland. Claire is a privileged young suburbanite ill-equipped to survive in this hostile new landscape, until she meets Freddie, a retired soldier who lost his daughter to the virus. As they travel together to reach the perimeter, Freddie teaches Claire the skills that will enable Claire to survive, and the uneasy partnership between the two grows into something more akin to a father/daughter relationship. Before they can reach safety, the two will have to escape brutal gangs, cannibals, cults, and the undead.

You may not know the name, but we're pretty you'll recognize the face. Dale Dickey, winner of the 2011 Independent Spirit Award - Best Supporting Female for Winter's Bone, has joined the cast of HBO's "True Blood" as the mother of dearly departed werewolf packmaster Marcus Bozeman (played by Dan Buran).
Per TVLine Dickey's character will be known as Annie, who is also a werewolf. Powerful and respected within the pack due to her late son’s position, she's determined to perform a particular ritual. We're assuming said ritual might involve Alcide (Joe Manganiello), the person responsible for Marcus' death, but only time will tell.
The fifth season of "True Blood" starts production later this year ahead of its summer, 2012 return. Here's hoping they can reclaim some of the series' prior glory before it all went downhill during the last few years.

Dimension Extreme is really pushing out Hellraiser: Revelations, the Victor Garcia-directed sequel that will open in limited theaters September 2, with a VOD launch on September 1. The gates of Hell will then open on DVD October 18. Already having shared with you guys the trailer, poster and handful of stills, Bloody now scored an exclusive deleted scene that features a bum explaining that the Lament Configuration will bring these kids the ultimate experience. It gets a little long in the tooth, with some gnarly acting, which is probably why it was trimmed. Ouch.
So, there’s been all sorts of confusion and drama on the latest Dtv sequel, Hellraiser: Revelations, coming to VOD on September 1st, then on DVD October 18th. First, fans were confused as if this was going to be the rumored remake or a direct sequel to the long-running series. Then, Doug Bradley confirmed, for the first time that he will not reprise the character of Pinhead, which immediately outraged fans.
From here, lots of hush-hush from the filming, followed by a sneaky limited theatrical run, which lasted like two weeks in L.A., and now, probably the most hilarious thing of all, is that Clive Barker took to Twitter to announce his final thoughts on the 9th film:
“Hello,my friends. I want to put on record that the flick out there using the word Hellraiser Is No F*Ckin’ Child Of Mine!” he screams via Twitter. “I...

One of the reason why we love Clive Barker so much around these parts is because of how outspoken he is. Need an example? Wait until you see his latest hilarious comments about the upcoming sequel Hellraiser: Revelations!
"Hello,my friends. I want to put on record that the flick out there using the word Hellraiser Is No Fuckin' Child Of Mine!" he screams via Twitter. "I have Nothing to do with the fuckin' thing. If they claim it's from the mind of Clive Barker, it's a lie. It's not even from my butt-hole."
Hellraiser: Revelations (review here), directed by Victor Garcia (Mirrors 2), stars Steven Brand, Daniel Buran, Jolene Andersen, Nick Eversman, Stephen Smith Collins, and Jay Gillespie.
Look for it on VOD and in limited theatres on September 1st followed by a DVD and Blu-ray release on October 18th.

Yesterday Bloody Disgusting scored an exclusive look at the trailer premiere and theatrical one sheet, while today we got our hands on the first hi-res stills for Dimension Extreme's Hellraiser: Revelations, the Victor Garcia-directed sequel that will open in limited theaters September 2, with a VOD launch on September 1. The gates of Hell will then open on DVD October 18. Starring Steven Brand as the new Pinhead, alongside Daniel Buran, Jolene Andersen, Nick Eversman, Stephen Smith Collins and Jay Gillespie, "Two friends in Mexico discover the Lament Configuration and unleash Pinhead, but one decides to try to survive by swapping himself with someone else. Once they go missing, family members go in search of them, but find Pinhead instead." Check out the trailer, poster and some "official" photos inside.

The ninth film in the Hellraiser film series is set to move to DVD shelves October 18th and now the first trailer for this feature is available. Actor Doug Bradley has played Pinhead, the central antagonist, in the previous eight films, but he declined to participate in this latest film, titled Hellraiser: Revelations, after reading the script (Bradley). The short shoot time of two weeks also signals a possible rush to complete the film by Puzzlebox Films, which has no other titles attached to its name. Horror fans and Hellraiser fans can take a look at the clip here, which involves a late night at a bar, a bum, a box, and a bumbling line or two.
As well, Dimension Extreme will distribute this title. Other films released from this American film distributor include several sequels such as Feast II: Sloppy Seconds, Feast III: The Happy Finish, Pulse 2: Afterlife,...

Synopsis - Two friends in Mexico discover the Lament Configuration and unleash Pinhead, but one decides to try to survive by swapping himself with someone else. Once they go missing, family members go in search of them but find Pinhead instead. Pinhead makes his return to the silver screen, but that isn't quite the quality I was hoping or expecting. Obviously this is a low budget production, and doesn't seem worthy of the title, "Hellraiser." Hellraiser: Revelations, directed by Victor Garcia (Mirrors 2), stars Steven Brand, Daniel Buran, Jolene Andersen, Nick Eversman, Stephen Smith Collins, and Jay Gillespie. On VOD and in limited theaters September. On DVD and Blu-ray October 18th.

I know a lot of horror fans that bow at the alter that is Cliver Barker’s original Hellraiser. I for one have no opinion on the series because I am not a horror fan. I have seen the first movie and I wasn’t that all taken by it in anyway. Dimension Extreme has unveiled the official trailer via B-d.com for their new sequel Hellraiser: Revelations, a low-rent direct-to-dvd horror inspired by Clive Barker’s classic. Revelations stars Steven Brand as the new Pinhead, with Daniel Buran, Jolene Anderson and Nick Eversman.
Unfortunately for fans of the franchise this movie looks like a horrible travesty. Not only does it look stupid as shit but the trailer is one of the worst trailers I have seen in a long time. The film follows two friends in Mexico that discover the Lament Configuration and unleash Pinhead, but one decides to survive by swapping himself.

Here's your first look a the new Hellraiser: Revelations horror film. To be honest I'm not the biggest fan of the Hellraiser franchise. I've seen many of the films, but they aren't movies that I find myself watching over and over again. I saw the original film when I was young, and it freakin' jacked me up. As for this new film, I'm sure I'll eventually see it, but I'm in no rush.

"You opened it, summoned us, we came." Dimension Extreme has unveiled the official trailer via B-d.com for their new sequel Hellraiser: Revelations, a low-rent direct-to-dvd horror inspired by Clive Barker's classic. I didn't even know a new Hellraiser flick actually made it into production, but after watching this trailer, I wish I could've kept it that way. This looks like student filmmakers trying to make an homage to Hellraiser, I can't believe this is a real movie made by a studio. Revelations stars Steven Brand as the new Pinhead, with Daniel Buran, Jolene Andersen and Nick Eversman. You've been warned - this looks terrible! Dimension Extreme continues to flirt with disaster in their latest release Hellraiser: Revelations. This is the ninth Hellraiser film and the first to not have actor Doug Bradley in the lead role of Pinhead. All nine films are based on Clive Barker's novel The Hellbound Heart. Early reviews on this latest film have not been kind, with the Foy Wonder at Dread Central calling this film "rushed" and giving the film 0 out of 5 knives. So, this article is more of a warning than an endorsement. More details on the release are below.
The synopsis for Hellraiser: Revelations is here:

Release Date: October 18, 2011 (DVD, Blu-Ray).
