Currently, actor Raphael Sbarge is playing the character of psychiatrist Archie Hopper (a.k.a. Pinocchio’s conscience Jiminy Cricket) on the modern-day fairy tale show, Once Upon A Time, in which fairy tale characters have been transported to the “real world” town of Storybrooke, Maine, and robbed of their real memories by a powerful curse. It’s a lot of fun!
If you somehow haven’t encountered Once Upon A Time and Sbarge’s character there, however, you may also remember him as one of the main characters on The Guardian, Jake Straka. And if you’ve missed both of those shows, I can pretty much guarantee you’ve seen him in something. Why? Because Sbarge is one of those great TV actors who shows up in pretty much every show I’ve (or anyone’s) ever watched. From Prison Break to Quantum Leap, and Avatar: The Last Airbender to Murder She Wrote,...

In last week's episode of Beverly Hills Pawn, Ed Begley Jr. purchased some absolutely gorgeous diamond and sapphire earrings for his wife. While we're sure Rachelle Carson-Begley was thrilled with her gift, we're disappointed that such a beautiful piece is no longer for sale. Luckily there are plenty of other gorgeous items at the Dina Collection, some of which can be purchased at their online store. The item that caught our eye this week was this Art Deco platinum and diamond ring. The ring totals 2.58 carats and would be perfect as an engagement ring, a right-hand diamond ring or even just a "hey, why not?" ring. The one down-side is, of course, the price which comes to $12,000. Unfortunately this translates to a down payment on a house for most of us, but if we had the $12k burning a hole in our pocket, this is definitely how we'd spend it.

Actor Ed Begley Jr. has launched a Kickstarter campaign for his new web series On Begley Street, which documents his attempt to build the world's greenest home. An environmental activist since 1970, Begley and his wife Rachelle Carson-Begley are joined by friend and the shows producers Raphael Sbarge (ABC's Once Upon a Time) and Billy Frank (Clueless, Indecent Proposal) as they attempt to build a Leed Platinum home in Los Angeles. On Begley Street has already raised over $3,000 of the $25,000 goal which the Begleys will match dollar for dollar. "We get none of the money you might kick in," Begley said. "It all goes to production, marketing, and promotion." Much of the project's publicity stems from Begley's own notoriety, however. "Keep an eye open as Ed and Rachelle's high profile friends stop by for a visit and are then coerced into an afternoon of hard labor," reads the Kickstarter page. Indeed,...

It isn't always easy to be green, but it's certainly worth it. Momlogic sat down with Rachelle Carson to talk about her life with eco-obsessed husband Ed Begley, Jr, and their Hgtv show, "Living with Ed," which follows their path toward eco-enlightenment.
momlogic: What do you think is the hardest part about being green?
Rachelle Carson: The fantasy of the American Dream has always been about having bigger, better, and more. Happiness came from the things that you acquired. When I was growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, I dreamed of having a home called "Tara" and a husband named Ashley right out of "Gone With the Wind."
I did get the fair-haired gentleman, but his name is Ed. And even if we became ridiculously rich, we wouldn't live in a house bigger than what we need, or consume more than we can use. Years ago, when I dreamed of a life of luxury,...

Bradley Whitford, Sharon Lawrence and Daryl Hannah are among the celebrities set to get some "green" counseling from Ed Begley Jr. in the second season of HGTV's "Living With Ed".
In its upcoming season, the show will focus less on Begley's home life with his wife, Rachelle Carson Begley, and more on Begley showing his celebrity friends and everyday people how easy and affordable it is to make their homes environmentally friendly.
Also among the initial group of celebrities signed on to appear in the show -- more announcements are expected -- are Jackson Browne and Cheryl Tiegs.
HGTV has ordered 13 episodes for "Ed"'s second season, which is in production. The first four episodes of the new season are tentatively scheduled to air 10 p.m. Aug. 26 and Sept. 2, immediately following "HGTV Design Star".
"Ed" is one of several HGTV programs intended to showcase eco-friendly designs, products and lifestyles. Others include "Red, Hot and Green", debuting 9 p.m. June 10, and the tentatively titled "Carter Can", debuting 10:30 a.m.
