- She won the prestigious Molière award (the French equivalent of the Tony) three times: in 1990 (Best Supporting Actress in "Greek"), in 2000 (Best Actress in "Shirley") and in 2006 (Best Actress in "Histoires d'hommes").
- She started performing on stage in 1945 at the age of 18 and made her film debut in 1948.
