- Stunts
Wayne Crews works in film and television as a choreographer of sword,
dagger and knife fights. As an apprentice of famous swordmaster
Anthony De Longis, Wayne fought in and choreographed stage productions of such
works as "The Three Musketeers", "King Lear", "Othello" and others.
Wayne is an expert in military weapons, military transport and ancient
or medieval weapons. He has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962), Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993) and recently
on Ballroom Bootcamp (2005) as an expert in footwork. He has played numerous hitmen,
bouncers or thugs, and has been a photo double for Nicolas Cage. Wayne also
played a hitman pursuing Maria Conchita Alonso in Acts of Betrayal (1997). His newest release follows
his first swashbuckling pirate movie, the adult film Conquest (1996), and is
called Eternity (2005) from Wicked Pictures. He plays the best friend to the
lead actor and fights in a wonderful scene toward the end of the film
("Eternity" may well be the highest-budgeted adult film ever made, with
"Conquest" holding the record to beat for sales). Wayne has a lengthy
behind-the-scenes interview in both films, with directors praising his
great personality, and training style. Wayne is currently in
development with his own production of "The Deadly Dance", and coaches
actors at the Academy of Style in Northridge, California.
