“I cannot say enough about how Bob Iger and Alan Horn have understood this thing that is now part of the Disney company. And they’re not trying to Disney-fy it, they’re not doing anything other than, I think, an incredibly smart thing, which is letting Kathleen Kennedy — who is a remarkable person and producer — run and lead Lucasfilm to a place where I think it wants to go. They let us make the movie we wanted to make,” director J.J. Abrams said earlier this month during a one-hour talk (watch below in full), also confirming he has final cut on Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

A more appropriate title for The Theory Of Everything could be “The Theory of Love,” or better yet “The Theory of What Draws One Person to Another.” Chemistry, evolution and science play a large part in this romantic tale of star-crossed lovers but not in a way that you would assume given the man behind the story. How love evolves and changes is more of the basis for this story looking at the life of Stephen Hawking. Those hoping not to sit through a college course on the Big Bang Theory and quantum physics can breathe a sigh of relief. However the fact that so much of Hawking’s theories are brushed to the side in lieu of his personal drama may leave some who are fascinated by the mind of the celebrated physicist scratching their heads.

The Cask Of Amontillado (13 minutes)
Directed by Hugo Fleming, The Cask Of Amontillado is a tale of revenge, based on the story by Edgar Allen Poe. Two men (Mark Bunch and Billy Benner), with their minds altered by the effects of Budweiser 40s, wander deep into a subterranean realm, whereas only would may ultimately return. The film is more of a operatic ode to Poe, that a traditional narrative film. The Cask Of Amontillado contains no dialogue, instead told entirely by the very words of Poe himself. Illustrated by a haunting piano and vocal score (Somewhere Under the Rainbow, written and performed by Heather Rice) that draws on the dark heart of Poe’s literary horror.

He tells U.S. newswoman Vicki Mabrey, "We found out around Christmas time and we got him on New Year's Day. I didn't care what colour he was. My only prerequisite for adopting a baby, I want a baby who needs us the most."
James admits the adoption brought new life to their marriage, just days before his cheating scandal hit the headlines: "I found a new trust for her, like I knew she wasn't going to leave, and our relationship blossomed."
And James admits he was "sad" to see the magazine cover of Bullock enjoying life as a single mum because he had taken part in the photoshoot just days before the actress walked out on him.
He says, "It made me sad, but I realise why things have to be done in a certain way. To see her in the role of mother is like one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I mean, she is like a fish to water, as soon as she put that baby in her hands, it was automatic and amazing."
The full interview with James will air on U.S. news show Nightline on Tuesday.
