- Douglas Santiago boxed his way into the international spotlight as the street-wise Adrian in the critically acclaimed Sony Pictures feature film Girlfight, also starring Michelle Rodriguez, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, the Prix de la Jeunesse at Cannes Film Festival and the Grand Prize at the Deauville Film Festival. He then went on to co-star with Leonor Benedetto in the film Times Up, which won best film at the Amiens International Film Festival. Douglas was the first actor to be cast in the one-man show Mambo Mouth by John Leguizamo. His television credits include an Emmy- nominated episode of Law and Order working alongside award winning actors Benjamin Bratt, Jerry Orbach and Sam Waterston and the film A Story to Die For alongside Angela Lansbury and Richard Crenna. As a musician Douglas was a member of the group Subliminal NY on Sire Records and the front man in the band, SANTI. Douglas starred and co-produced the independent film Only a Glass Inside of Me, official selection of OMNI Cultural TV Fest 2019 and co-starred in the film Southside directed by Emmy Award winning director/producer Gregori J. Martin. Douglas is currently in production of his bio drama with music show, "Thank You Mr. Douglas and Talk Show "The Hook" as host/producer with Legends Digital NYC.
