Exclusive: Haylie Duff is the latest Napoleon Dynamite alumnus to join the cast of animated blockchain pilot Cyko Ko.
She will reunite with Jon Heder, Tina Majorino, Efren Ramirez and Jon Gries on the pilot, which is now called Cyko Ko: The Animated Series.
The show is based on Rob Feldman’s Ringo Award-nominated comic book, published by Rocketship Entertainment, of the same name. It follows the titular Cyko Ko, a “fourth-wall breakin’, pinball-addicted, cereal eatin’, motorcycle-ridin’ hero” in a campy Saturday morning cartoon–like world.
The series will follow him, sidekick Peachy Keen and their pet Meemop, as he protects the colonies of SuperEarth from giant monsters and crazy characters “in this Saturday morning cartoon-inspired, all-ages title.” Duff will voice waitress Dolphina.
With Duff signed on, the main cast of the web series is now rounded out.
Duff played ‘mean girl’ Summer in 2004 high-school comedy Napoleon Dynamite, and also starred in Seventh heaven.

Judy Tenuta, the eclectic comedienne known as “The Love Goddess” and “Aphrodite of the Accordion” to her legions of fans, has died. She was 72.
Tenuta died Thursday at her home Studio City after a battle with stage 4 ovarian cancer, publicist Harlan Boll announced.
During her first solo stand-up performance, Tenuta shocked audiences by dressing up as the Virgin Mary, and after being encouraged by her friends to incorporate an accordion into her routine — an instrument her mother, a fan of Lawrence Welk, encouraged her to learn — she developed the character into the wisecracking “Love Goddess.”
Tenuta soon introduced the public to such other exaggerated, campy and offbeat personas as “The Petite Flower,” “Fashion-Plate Saint,” “Queen of Candy-Pants,” “Princess of Panty Shields,” “Empress of Elvis Impersonators” and “Buffer of Foreheads.”

Exactly. Blending Christmas is such a fun concept to get all of you guys back together. How was it presented to you?...

Haylie Duff and Aaron O'Connell star as a couple in love in Lifetime's Blending Christmas.
O'Connell's character decides on a Christmas proposal that includes extended family from both sides, which turns out to be a little more complicated than he imagined. Thankfully, with The Brady Bunch's Barry Williams, Susan Olsen, Christopher Knight, and Mike Lookinland around, complications didn't overshadow the love.
We had a chance to talk with Aaron about the movie, and his peek inside of The Brady Bunch magic.

I just enjoy spreading the holiday cheer?

The Super 8 hit the stage in a two-hour episode of “The Masked Singer” on Wednesday night before a pair mystery performers were eliminated from the reality TV competition. Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 5 Episode 7 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired April 21 on Fox.
Too hot to handle, too cold to hold, Bobby Brown was the next celebrity to be eliminated on Wednesday night’s edition of “The Masked Singer,” followed immediately by “Sister, Sister” star Tamera Mowry. It was a tough night for the beach, as Brown had been disguised as the Crab, while Mowry was dressed as the Seashell.
That’s right, it was a double elimination evening, part of a two-hour extravaganza that saw the “Super 8” contestants whittled down to just six. Also, viewers got more of a glimpse of the mysterious “Cluedle Doo,” a masked star who is sharing additional clues behind the scenes for viewers — and, for the first time, the panelists on set.
For the Crab, Ken Jeong and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg got it right with Brown.

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.”)
The fifth season of “The Masked Singer” aired its special two-hour Super 8 episode Wednesday, bringing together the remaining contestants from Groups A and B for the first time and ending with two unmaskings.
The supersized episode featured performances by Russian Doll(s), Seashell, Robopine (f.k.a. Porcupine), Yeti, Chameleon, Black Swan, Piglet and Crab. Each of those eight sang their little hearts out for host Nick Cannon, panelists Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger and guest panelist Rita Wilson. Then, it was time for the judges and at-home audience to cast their votes for their favorite, and in doing so, select which two competitors would not move on to the Spicy Six round.
They ended up cutting Crab and Seashell.

With “The Masked Singer” crooning its way through the third season, the sixth episode opened with a group performance of the Backstreet Boys‘ “Larger than Life.” The talent took the stage and dazzled the audience. First up to compete solo was the Kitty, who soulfully sang Miranda Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart.” She warmed the room with her caramel voice, and a friend of the singer doled out tonight’s clues. Miss Kitty’s gal pal gave insight into the Kitty’s troubled youth. She said, “She didn’t have a ton of friends and got bullied at school for being weird, but to me, that’s always made her special.” The friend added, “She may have the voice of an angel, but it’s her dark side that will help her stay in the competition.”

Wednesday night on “The Masked Singer,” the four finalists from Group B — Banana, Frog, Kitty and Taco — faced off in the championships for a chance of returning later on in the Super 9. The panel of judges were coming off a great showing last week when they correctly guessed the Mouse’s true identity was Dionne Warwick — well, everybody but Ken Jeong. Did the lucky streak continue for Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy, or were they all stumped again? Season 1 winner T-Pain (Monster) rejoined the panel this week for more fun and games.

Hilary Duff is back with new music and we couldn't be happier! On Wednesday, the 32-year-old singer and actress released a cover of Third Eye Blind's "Never Let You Go" that she did with producer Rac and her husband Matthew Koma. Not only does it mark the couple's first track together, but it also marks Duff's first new song in almost four years. She previously released her album Breathe In. Breathe Out. in 2015, and eventually covered Fleetwood Mac's "Little Lies" for her hit show Younger later that year.
From the upbeat tempo to the soft vocals, the new cover definitely feels reminiscent of Duff's earlier songs like "So Yesterday" or her "Our Lips Are Sealed" cover with her sister, Haylie Duff. Even though Duff is currently busy with Younger and the Disney+ reboot of Lizzie McGuire, is it too much to ask for another album? Maybe she can sing...
