- TriviaCreated the character Abraham Whistler for the film trilogy based on the Blade comic book. Ironically, the character ended up making his first appearance before the film came out, in an an episode of Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1994) in which Blade made a guest appearance. Whistler was voiced in that episode by Malcolm McDowell. Whistler subsequently was adopted into the continuity of the comic books.
