Fritz Freisler was born on 21 January 1881 in Trübau, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary [now Ceska Trebova, Czech Republic]. He was a director and writer, known for Hoheit tanzt Walzer (1926), Das Nachtlager von Mischli-Mischloch (1918) and Jagd nach dem Glück (1920). He died on 2 July 1955 in Vienna, Austria.
