  • Trivia
After her ex-husband Ulrich Mühe said in the book describing the background story of The Lives of Others (2006) she was an agent of the East German secret service from 1979 to 1989, she obtained an interim injunction order against the Suhrkamp publishing house. Furthermore, she swore under oath that she had not worked as an unofficial agent ("IM") for the "Staatssicherheit". A court decided Ulrich Mühe must not call his ex-wife "IM" any more.
