Carlos studied Masters in Film Directing at New York University with a Fulbright Scholarship. After eight years on the directors' team of Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's production company, Carlos went on to open his own production company, La Sombra del Guayabo, with his working partner Martha Sosa. Carlos has produced and directed award-winning documentary films like "Los que se quedan", "Vuelve a la vida", "El patio de mi casa". Also co-produced Maya Goded's "Plaza de la Soledad" and Luciana Kaplan's "Rush Hour". He is also a funding partner of Brinca Animation Studio
