A red band teaser trailer for writer/director Macon Blair’s remake of the Troma cult classic The Toxic Avenger (watch it Here) was unveiled back in September – you can watch it at This Link – but we’re still waiting to hear of a release date for that one. With a remake on the way and a new 4K restoration of the original classic now streaming, it’s a good time to be a fan of Troma’s The Toxic Avenger. And on that particular note…
Bloody Disgusting has learned that Matt Bors — the founder of The Nib and a political cartoonist who has twice been named a Pulitzer Prize finalist —and acclaimed artist Fred Harper (Snelson) are collaborating on an all-new 5-issue comic book series, The Toxic Avenger, starring the satirical superhero of the Troma Films cult classic films.
“The Toxic Avenger delivers what Troma fans want,” said Ahoy Comics Editor-in-Chief Tom Peyer. “The series has violent action, gross mutations, bursting pustules, eye-popping visuals, and trenchant humor.”
“If there was ever a superhuman hero for these toxic, miserable times, Toxie is the one!” said Lloyd Kaufman. “Only Ahoy Comics and Bors & Harper could pull this off…er…mop this up!

At an unspecified future date, we will be able to watch The Last Kingdom on a viewing device of your choice.
What’s it all about?
Set during between 866 and 879, The Last Kingdom charts the Viking invasion of Britain and the collapse of the Saxon kingdoms of Northumbria, Mercia, and East Anglia, leaving only Wessex, and King Alfred, standing. Ashley is out... and Patrick Harper is in?
ABC sources confirm that a major recurring character will debut on the Revenge Season 3 premiere, as viewers will meet Victoria's first born son, who was put up for adoption when he was six months old.
Look for the character to be charming, but also possess a dark side. Hmmmm... we wonder where he got that from?
No word yet on what actors are up for the role, but go ahead and cast Patrick in our Revenge forum.
Dr. Jorge Lopez, a South American doctor, will also debut on the premiere. Sources say he will called upon regarding Ashley... which doesn't bode well for that aspiring socialite's fate.

He’s written for comic books ranging from Archie to Batman and The Punisher to Cherry Poptart. He’s authored thousands of nonfiction pieces, he’s just shy of having written 300 short stories, and he’s also the author of the Professor Piers Knight series of Urban Fantasy novels. The first one featuring Knight is Brooklyn Knight, and the second, just out this month and also reviewed here, is Central Park Knight. His novels are blurbed by, of all people, William Shatner, so ya know they have to be pretty amazing–and, they are just that. I’m honored that C.J. has agreed to do the following interview with me–I hope you enjoy reading it!
Professor Crazy: This is indeed a pleasure to be interviewing you, C.J.! I loved reading Brooklyn Knight and Central Park Knight, but before I get to some questions about those two novels,...
