Some cliche somewhere said that ‘a picture is worth a thousand words.’ This has proven to be the case for me and especially when it comes to fan art. I have always sought out great fan art and have wanted to share it with as many people as possible. “Awesome Art We’ve Found Around The Net” is the outlet for that passion. In this column, I will showcase the kick-ass artwork of some great artists, with the hopes that these artists get the attention they deserve. That’s the aim. If you have any questions or comments, or even suggestions of art or other great artists, feel free to contact me at any time at theodorebond@joblo.com.

We are down to our last quarterfinal group, "America's Got Talent" fans. Will it be the best one yet? We can only hope.
1. The Kinetic King
Presumably he has to go first because it takes so long for him to set up, which right away should tell us he is not right for this show. He'd get in like one 15-second act per hour-long show or something. Anyway, tonight (after 36 hours of set up) he sets off his train of tongue depressors and it all goes horribly wrong. Aw, geez. After all that time! That is so sad. Poor Kinetic King. Moving on.
2. Zuma Zuma
They are really playing up the Kenya thing tonight,w ith a video background of the African plains and tribal music and makeup/outfits. The tumbling and pole tricks are pretty amazing. I think they are much more entertaining than the dance troupes that made...

It was Results Night Wednesday on “America’s Got Talent,” and host Nick Cannon didn’t want to waste any time bringing out the first three acts to inform them of whether or not they would be moving on to the next round. But before he actually got around to calling their names, the show was interrupted by an appearance by The Smurfs, who pleaded with judges Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and even Piers Morgan to give them a...

The America’s Got Talent judges cast their vote once more on last night’s results show and this week, they have chosen another four acts to progress to the upcoming semi final stages.
Landau Eugene Murphy Jr, Lys Agnes, Poplyfe and Professor Splash all found themselves moving onwards and upwards and we were actually quite shocked that Seth Grabel didn’t make the cut.
However, the most heart wrenching moment of the night was when the cutest child we have ever seen, thought he and his childish rap group Sh’Boss Boys had made it through to the next round. The youngster let out a squeal of delight, on to have to endure groans of sympahty, as host Nick Cannon was forced to explain his true fate. The boy was going home.
The biggest decision of the night came when the panel had to choose between the two death defying acts of the week.

Do you think we'll have any surprises tonight on "America's Got Talent"? I'm really only wondering who gets the last spot, Summerwind Skippers or Seth Grabel. I don't think there's much chance the first three advancing acts are anything but Lys, Landau and Poplyfe.
Added: Turns out there were some surprises. Hmph.
The first group brought down is Purrfect Angelz, Ian Johnson and Summerwind Skippers. Ooh, that's a bit of a surprise. Did the Skippers make the Top 3 vote-getters? Cool, good for them. Except Twist! Nobody is through. I thought for sure Sws would be in the Top 5 at least (the fourth and fifth get decided on by the judges and I thought at least Sws was one of the best five acts last night).
And now Stevie Nicks! I'm seriously all a-flutter, I love her. Her new song is "For What It's Worth" and I loved it. I need to get her new album,...

For the third quarterfinal group on "America's Got Talent," we have Poplyfe and Lys Agnes, who I am very much looking forward to, and Professor Splash and that Mauricio guy, who I am not so much looking forward to.
1. Summerwind Skippers
This is a neat act, but it doesn't scream Vegas show to me. Their first live show is much better than what they've done before, but it's still just a jump-rope act. It's a very good jump-rope act, but ... still. I do think these guys beat the hell out of every dance group on the show except maybe Miami All-Stars. They still might deserve to advance, though, based on how the other acts do. The judges are complimentary.
2. Sh'Boss Boys
Ok, it's not even fair to critique these lil' buggers because they're so damn cute I want to kidnap them. I shall put them in the house where I...

The auditions continue in Seattle for "America's Got Talent." Can anyone live up to Team iLuminate from last week's premiere (Spoiler alert: Turns out the answer is no, at least not in Seattle).
Melissa Villasenor kicks things off with a stand-up comedy routine. Wow, bold. You really don't see a lot of female comics, not relative to the number of men, especially one who does impressions. Her bit starts with Barbara Walters talking to Natalie Portman and it's not bad, though her Barbara is perhaps Cheri Oteri doing Barbara. Her Miley Cyrus is Ok. Her Kathy Griffin is amazing - like, spooky good. Her Xtina is more Cher than Xtina, but still - she's good, she deserves to go through.
The next act are the A+C Twins, who are dressed like they've got a great act to do but it turns out they can't sing and their dancing looks...

The reformed drug addict Christian Bale played in The Fighter has been credited with saving his mother's life - by shouting at her.
Bale admits he was stunned when he heard the story of how Dicky Ecklund brought his mum back from the dead at the beginning of the month.
Recalling the amazing story to news show Access Hollywood, the actor says, "His mother actually was declared dead for 30 minutes and then Dicky arrived and they've got this wonderfully close relationship. Dicky shouted at her, said, 'Come on, wake up mum,' and she did.
"The nurses said they'd never seen anything like it; it was straight out of Lazarus. It was just phenomenal. That woman is one tough cookie."
In fact news of Alice Ward's death leaked out before her recovery - and was reported during the telecast of Ruslan Provodnikov's boxing match against Mauricio Herrera in Las Vegas on 7 January.
Ward, who was portrayed by Melissa Leo in the boxing movie, is currently recovering from her brief death.
