- Her partner, 'Paul Gailiunas' was wounded in the attack which left her dead at their home in New Orleans. Their only son, Francis, was present, but uninjured in the attack.

- Gave birth to her only child at age 34, a son Francis Pop Gailiunas on October 15, 2004. Child's father is her widowed husband, Paul Gailiunas.
