Douglas S. Jones is a veteran producer with extensive experience on both the studio and freelance side of filmmaking. With a natural penchant for business, Jones joined Walden Media as Senior Vice President of Physical Production; quickly finding himself overseeing the bulk of Walden's 2006 production slate. In 2007, Jones delivered box-office hit "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe"; solidifying Jones as a crucial asset to the team. Between the years of 2008 and 2012, Jones was in charge of both the physical and post production aspects of over 15 feature films. A few highlights include Charlotte's Web, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Bridge to Terabithia, Nim's Island and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Wanting to embark on a new set of challenges, Jones made the official jump to freelance producing. In 2015, Jones served as Unit Production Manager and Co-Producer on Academy Award winning film The Revenant, starring Academy Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio. As Executive Producer, Jones has purposefully chosen to work on a wide arrange of genres. Highlights include Togo, Rise, Safety, The Beanie Bubble, The Parts You Lose, I Still See You, and Chappaquiddick. Jones, with his beautiful wife and children, make their home on the West Coast.
