Children: daughter, Ava Emanuelle, born 4 April 1999 and son Giovanni, born 2001.

Attended Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY - and graduated in 1991. She was a Theatre Major.

Is of Swedish descent.

Met her future husband, Gil Bellows, in 1991 when both were working at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Sister of Carla Kihlstedt.

Born on exactly the same date as Charisma Carpenter (of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fame).
