    Sheldon Lewis was a stage, silent and sound film actor. He made is debut in 1914 and played a variety of character parts. He was cast in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1920), intended as a rival production to the John Barrymore version of the Stevenson novel released the same year. Lewis successfully transitioned to sound and retired in 1936.
