They’re still tiny and now they’re learning to be a little looney with a new spin on one of television’s most catchy theme songs.
Tiny Toons Looniversity, the updated take on 1990s favorite Tiny Toon Adventures, used its time at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday morning to unveil its theme song, which as you’d expect, is based on the beloved theme song from the original — but with a new twist.
Composer Matthew Janszen has taken composer Bruce Broughton’s Daytime Emmy-winning tune and remixed the original arrangement and lyrics to fit the rebooted show made for a new generation.
The voice cast features Eric Bauza as Buster, Daffy and Gossamer; Ashleigh Hairston as Babs; David Errigo Jr. as Hamton J. Pig and Plucky; and Tessa Netting as Sweety. Looniversity also brings back Tiny Toon Adventures grads Jeff Bergman, Bob Bergen, Candi Milo and Cree Summer, who...

Jon Heder, who is best known for his role in Napoleon Dynamite, stars in a new film coming out called When Jeff Tried To Save The World. The thing is, he’s not literally trying to save the world. He’s trying to save the bowling alley that he manages called Winky’s World from closing down.
It actually looks like a charming indie comedy that some audiences might enjoy, especially if you’re a fan of Heder. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen him in anything, and this looks like a good role that fits his style.
Here’s the synopsis:
Jeff (Jon Heder) is the manager of an old-school bowling alley called Winky's World. Everyday he is the first to arrive and the last to leave. He has memorized the shoe sizes of community regulars and the quirks of his fellow employees. Routine is Jeff’s middle name,...

"Does anyone other than me know you work at a bowling alley?" It's yet another edition of Indie Trailer Sunday. FilmBuff has debuted the first official trailer for When Jeff Tried to Save the World, an indie comedy about a bowling alley manager who decides to get involved in saving the place when it's about to be sold. The title is a fun play on the "save the world" idea because the name of the place he works is Winky's World and he wants to save it. Jon Heder (who played Napoleon in Napoleon Dynamite) stars as Jeff, with a full cast including Candi Milo, Jim O'Heir, Anna Konkle, Maya Erskine, Brendan Meyer, Steve Berg, and Richard Esteras. This looks quirky and low key entertaining, which should be an inspiring and refreshing break from all the Hollywood blockbusters this holiday season. Plus it's nice to see Heder again. Here's the...

Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron is one of those cartoon series you can only love if you grew up watching it as a kid. Otherwise, the formulaic storytelling and lack of interesting characters just doesn’t make for an enjoyable time. The stories get so repetitive that even those who watched the series when it originally aired in 1993 will have a hard time watching more than a few episodes.
The series is released as a 5-Disc DVD set as part of the Hanna-Barbera Classic Collection. It features the voice talents of Barry Gordon as Razor, Charles Adler as Chance Furlong, Gary Owens as Commander Ulysses Feral and Tress MacNeille as Callie Briggs. Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh, Gnomeo & Juliet, The Super Hero Squad Show), Mark Hamill (Batman: Arkham City), Candi Milo (Planet Sheen) and Lori Alan (90210, Family Guy) also perform guest roles.
