Biography

Zsigmond Móricz was born on June 29, 1879 in Tiszacsécse, Austria-Hungary [now Hungary]. He was a writer, known for Kerek Ferkó (1943), Life on the Hortobagy (1937) and Sárga rózsa (1941). He was previously married to Mária Simonyi and Eugénia 'Janka Holics. He died on September 4, 1942 in Budapest, Hungary.
