Washington, December 13: The Ohio police chief has warned Kanye West to check himself.
The Brimfield police chief, David Oliver, called West ignorant and "as misguided as they come" and advised the rapper to "check yourself, before you wreck yourself", ABC News reported.
The chief's comment is in response to the 36-year-old American hip hop recording artist's claim that he puts his life on the line each day, and compared himself to police officers and soldiers in war. (Ani)...

His off-the-cuff remarks seem to frequently land him in hot water and now one Ohio police chief is calling out Kanye West for comparing the dangers of being a rapper to being a police officer or going to war.
After hearing the "New Slaves" rapper being interviewed on "Saturday Night Online," Brimfield Police Chief David Oliver became incensed, taking to the department's Facebook page to post an open letter to Yeezy.
In the sarcasm-laden diatribe, Oliver begins, "I am honored to be writing such an important star. I am a mere Internet sensation. I’m not sure I am worthy to address you, although the Huffington Post did say I was 'Humorous and Insanely Popular.' I don't pay much attention to those things. Anyway, please excuse my interference in your life for a quick second."
After noting the possible dangers of rapping, the Chief continues, "I’m letting you know,...

On Thursday June 10th, three girls from Royal Docks Community School were treated to a day out at the world-famous Pinewood Studios on the outskirts of London, England. They were greeted by Julia Hillsdon, Head of Marketing at the studio, who gave them a tour of the mansion building originally known as Heatherden Hall, which the studios have been built around. Julia took them through the picture gallery and explained the studio’s illustrious history, films made there, and the many famous stars that have walked its corridors during the past 50 years or so.
This was followed by a tour of the vast garden area, this time given by Dave Worrall, co-publisher of Cinema Retro magazine, who explained to the girls how the...

The Wolfman opens this week and I'm pretty psyched about it. All week here on JoBlo.com we'll be covering the shit out of it, so look out for more interviews as well as JimmyO's review! Till then, though, check out these extended clips that popped up over at French website AlloCiné. The beginning of the first one is not new, but keep watching. It's good. And so is the second one. Bloody good! Thanks to Chud's David Oliver for the heads up.

Tonight is the first night of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, where too many bloggers will watch a whole bunch of shitty independent movies, which we'll finally get to see and say are overrated around mid-2011 when they're eventually released on DVD (or whatever unimaginable equivalent we have in that distant, sci-fi-esque future). Actually, this year a number of those films will have a more immediate release for us normal, non-festival-going folk, whether via iTunes, YouTube's new rental service, the VOD channel Sundance Selects or your favorite torrent site (because there's surely pirates in Park City this week).
Anyway, I've been to Sundance before. I liked maybe 3 of the 37 movies I saw there, so I'm not that intrigued or excited about the coming ten days of coverage crowding my news reader. My favorite part of Sundance blogging is the first day's reports, before everyone is there, before any films have been...
