On the stage from the age of four, she later starred in silent comedies made by Lubin at his Jacksonville studios. Long absence from the screen due to raising a family. Appeared on Broadway from 1934 and acted in character parts in Hollywood films after 1942. Dubbed Bob Hope's 'Aunt Lucy' voice in 'Road to Morocco'.

Rubbery-lipped, silver-haired character actress in dozens of Hollywood films of the 40's and 50's.
