Jerzy Passendorfer was born on April 8, 1923 in Wilno, Wilenskie, Poland [now Vilnius, Lithuania]. He was a director and writer, known for Zamach (1959), Powrót (1960) and Zabijcie czarna owce (1972). He died on February 20, 2003 in Skolimów, Konstancin-Jeziorna, Mazowieckie, Poland.
