Cinco Paul is a writer and producer, best known for Despicable Me (2010), Horton Hears a Who! (2008), The Secret Life of Pets (2016), and for creating and show running the Apple TV Plus series Schmigadoon! (2021). He was born in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated summa cum laude from Yale University, then received his MFA in screenwriting from USC. He was awarded an Emmy for his song "Corn Puddin'."
