Hannah Waddingham credits Game Of Thrones with transforming her career, but she didn’t love everything about filming the epic HBO series.
Waddingham played religious zealot Septa Unella in the Thrones franchise and featured in a torture scene, in which Cersei Lannister, played by Lena Headey, poured wine on her face.
She told The Late Show with Stephen Colbert that they filmed the scene for 10 hours and it was like being “actually waterboarded” in a quest for authenticity.
Waddingham said the scene was “horrific” and, five years on from the final season, she continues to have “chronic claustrophobia” as a result of her experience.
Waddingham said she had discussed the condition with Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss since filming had wrapped. “Thrones gave me something I wasn’t expecting,” she said.

This article contains spoilers for "Drive-Away Dolls."
Pedro Pascal has been acting professionally since the 1990s, but there's no denying he's been exploding in popularity over the last few years. Not only is he the titular star of "The Mandalorian," but he's also Joel Miller on "The Last Of Us," the new Reed Richards in Marvel's reboot of "Fantastic Four," and will also appear in Ridley Scott's highly-anticipated "Gladiator 2." But what makes Pascal such an endearing performer is that he's not limited to just playing huge roles — he also loves popping up into random movies and TV shows to have a little fun. One of the latest examples is in Tricia Cooke and Ethan Coen's "Drive-Away Dolls," where trailers depicted Pedro Pascal as Santos, a mysterious man carrying a briefcase who winds up as a "suave head in a hatbox."

Warning! This article contains minor spoilers for Rebel Moon: Part One!
Rebel Moon features two actors who previously played the same Game of Thrones character, showcasing the notable recasting and the different portrayals of the character. The recasting of Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones resulted in a stark physical transformation and a completely different energy and personality from the two actors, which is further emphasized in their roles in Rebel Moon. The casting of Ed Skrein as the main antagonist and Michiel Huisman as one of the primary protagonists in Rebel Moon highlights how different their Game of Thrones character was under each actor.
Netflix’s hit new action movie Rebel Moon features several Game of Thrones actors, with two, in particular, making one of the show’s most notable character recastings more shocking. With such an expansive ensemble cast across eight seasons, it’s not surprising to find...

Hannah Waddingham's character in Game of Thrones, Septa Unella, had a significant impact despite her small role. Septa Unella, also known as the "Shame Nun," gained pop culture prominence for her iconic scene with Cersei Lannister. Waddingham enjoyed playing Septa Unella because of her de-glammed appearance.
Despite having a relatively small role, Hannah Waddingham's memorable Game of Thrones character made an enormous impact on HBO's series. Based on George R. R. Martin's book series A Song of Ice and Fire, Game of Thrones is an epic fantasy show that follows a series of characters that include Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) who are all involved in an epic war over who should become the ruler of Westeros. Unfortunately, the characters also have to prepare for an invasion from a group called the White Walkers, led by the Night King, who...

One of the creepiest monsters in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been subtly put into the game without alerting players as to how horrendous it actually is. The new and highly-acclaimed Nintendo Switch title has no shortage of scary creatures, especially with the new variations that are derived from Gloom, the harmful oozing substance present across Hyrule – especially in the Depths.
The Zelda series has a reputation for gently adding weird creatures into titles without giving them the survival-horror treatment, despite how terrible their existence is. One of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s scariest monsters, for instance, is the Gloom Spawn, also known as Gloom Hands. These hand-like creatures with eyes in their palms are made from Gloom and are directly terrifying. There is, however, a creepier monster in Zelda: Totk that has been hiding in plain sight.

Quick Links Where to Get the Mystic Armor Set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom What Does the Mystic Armor Set Do?
Not every piece of armor in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is hidden behind some cave or ruins, so when players try to get the Mystic Armor set, it instead comes from a secret vendor named Koltin. The Mystic Armor has a special ability that gives the player a better chance to survive in fights, but it can be a little expensive. Since this gear has such a unique trait, players may easily overlook this interesting equipment.
The vendor Koltin appears to the northeast of Lookout Landing with their brother Kilton as part of a side quest players must complete to gain access to Koltin's shop. Koltin wants to be like the mystical Satori in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, while Kilton asks players to...

Pedro Pascal is the kind of star who seems like he became a success overnight. But of course, appearances can be deceiving. The actor worked in film and television for 15 years before landing what was his first big break on Game of Thrones. Yet, even with his role on that show, perhaps what fans – and Pascal himself – remember most is his epic death scene.

Game of Thrones, of course, premiered on HBO back in 2011. And the show soon gained attention for its complex storytelling, ensemble cast, and uncompromising approach to sex and violence. During its run, much of its cast found their breakthrough roles, including supporting players and even recurring characters like Pascal’s Oberyn Martell.
The character emerges in Game of Thrones Season 4 to attend Joffrey’s (Jack Gleeson) wedding.

As anyone who's beaten the odds to become a known entity in Hollywood will tell you, there's no such thing as an overnight success. For Chilean-born actor Pedro Pascal, the path to stardom has been a slow and steady rise that started with some fairly memorable television appearances that eventually led to his electric portrayal of the Dornish Prince Oberyn Martell in season 4 of "Game of Thrones." Pascal seemed born for the role of Prince Oberyn, injecting the character with intense passion, sexuality, and a fervor for life, which made it all the more tragic when he met his gruesome fate at the hands of Gregor Clegane aka The Mountain. "Game of Thrones" devotees deeply felt the loss which endeared Pascal even more to a growing legion of fans.
This year marked a significant shift in Pascal's widespread popularity, placing the actor in rarified air with two hit shows premiering at the exact same time.

Pedro Pascal, our collective internet daddy, might be a little bit too comfortable in his role as a protector.
The actor is currently stealing our hearts as a gruff and traumatized survivalist in HBO's "The Last of Us," where he's reluctantly carting a teenage girl across the country despite the ever-present threat of mushroom zombies intent on tearing them apart. Lucky for us, even if Pascal's Joel doesn't manage to survive until the end of the season, the actor will still be all over our screens in March when "The Mandalorian" returns for season 3. This time his child cargo will be an alien infant by the name of Grogu, and instead of trekking across post-apocalyptic America, he'll be cruising through various galaxies.
Needless to say, this is Pedro Pascal's world and we're just living in it. He's everywhere, all the time, making the world a wonderful place as the...

The Game of Thrones franchise continues to grow and thrive even three years after its final episode aired. Prequel series like House of the Dragon have reinvigorated the franchise, with the promise of future shows, such as the rumored Jon Snow spinoff, keeping fans with their eye to the future.
Game of Thrones certainly had a reputation of being a series in which no one was safe; fan-favorite characters could be killed off at any moment. Using the IMDb rating system, fans have spoken out about which episodes they felt were the best sendoff to certain beloved characters who were taken too soon.

With House of The Dragon currently airing, it's only fitting that another one of George R.R. Martin's adaptations have leading characters to hold unofficial titles that define them more than any official one could. Lord Corlys Velaryon, for example, is known better by his moniker the "Sea Snake" due to his extensive maritime adventures and his personal ship's namesake.
Game of Thrones introduced a lot of viewers to Martin's knack for nicknames to the point that some would rather refer them to these "nicknames" than their trueborn ones.
The Mountain
Not many characters in the series have a claim to a name that physically describes them. That honor or dishonor is laid out for Ser Gregor Clegane and Lord Tyrion Lannister, respectively, but the latter's is more derogatory compared to the absolute terror and fear the former inspires. Of all the Knights of Westeros, Ser Gregor is one who...
