Wojciech Pokora was born on October 2, 1934 in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland. He was an actor and director, known for Rozrywka po staropolsku (1985), Lalka (1978) and Palace Hotel (1977). He was married to Hanna Pokora. He died on February 4, 2018 in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland.
Had worked at the automobile plant in Zeran, Warsaw, where he quickly joined an artistic ensemble. Its director Jerzy Tkaczyk, an actor of the Powszechny Theater, convinced him to attempt the qualification exams at the PWST acting school in Warsaw.
Graduated from the Technical School for Aircraft Engine Construction in Wroclaw.
In his childhood he displayed interest in designing bridges and buildings.
For many years he struggled against being labeled a comedian.
He received the Golden Cross of Merit decoration in 1978.
