S.V. Ranga Rao was born on 3 July 1918 in Nuziweedu, Andhra Pradesh, India. He was an actor and producer, known for Chadarangam (1967), Mayabazar (1957) and Bandhavyalu (1968). He was previously married to Leelavathi. He died on 18 July 1974 in Madras, India.
